In Android 14 oneUI 6.0 i have an issue while i download, the progress of download doesn't show up, i have checked everything but only the Firefox notification of private search shows up, plus when it is downloading the file i have problems when browsing, like when i use the keyboard The keyboard automatically closes and doesn't allows me to type I don't know if i explain myself clear enough

how can I configure android Firefox to let me change the name of any downloads without it downloading without giving me a choice?

this is unacceptable browser programming that Mozilla should have FIXED a VERY LONG time ago.

when I am downloading something from Firefox then my internet speed decrease to below 1 mb per second while my regular WiFi speed is 200mb per second. in chrome or playstore i don't face any problem but in Firefox it is always there.

I am having a downloading problem in Firefox Android browser. I cannot download from any site. There is no problem in Windows version but there is a downloading problem in Android version.

I can't see the download button on my Firefox settings. Where is the download button on Firefox? How can I download a picture or anything else into my phone using the Firefox browser?

After updating Firefox for Android, my phone started rebooting after downloading any file. This makes it very difficult to use the browser and I had to use Chrome temporarily. The Crashes tab in About Firefox is empty. I tried to collect a logcat and uploaded it to Google Drive (maybe this will help somehow.): https://drive.google.com/file/d/1kmdS5rTH3r0u09KLxeUDeY5U8r5xiEK1/view?usp=sharing. Whilst sending a link from my Proton drive to others i have realised Firefox (latest version on ios also latest version) does not manage to do a basic fundamental task, I triple checked all the basic settings that could interfere, cleared caches etc etc

It flashes up a warning pop up, i click download, It reaches 100% then opens up a blank window, No file inside any download folder on iphone. It's a 200mb audio file, uncompressed.

I tried with Safari & instantly achieved the download even running a VPN, Firefox is my default browser on desktops & mobile devices for sync etc so this is very inconvenient.

As the title says, is there a way to edit file's name before downloading it? Any extension or anything? As in, e.g I'd like to download a photo but change it's file name before I do so, so I don't have to go into files app on my phone in order to modify it. (Sorry if it's easy to do and I just can't find it but I'm super new to Mozilla and used Opera Mobile before, which had that option, so I'm used to it)

I can’t get the app on iOS to download without a messed up bookmark setting, which means the settings button will not open! Please offer a solution? I installed and reinstalled, plus I’ve tried to delete files folder etc, but the iOS download is holding onto the old file system, which I messed up. I purposely restarted a brand new account, after five to six years of using my old account, but that changed nothing. The bookmarks aren’t even holding on to Mozilla Firefox desktop site book markers?

By default, Firefox only downloads directly to the internal storage, and not the micro SD card I installed. Its become tedious to manually move everything to save phone space every time I download anything.

All the past forums said to use about:config, but I understand the newer Firefox removed that function as it would break the app due to some major internal changes.

Please add the function to set a download path for Firefox to send my files to, including to my SD card.
