When viewing Bookmarks > Desktop Bookmarks, only the parent folders are displayed (screenshot 1) and one of them has to be tapped to display the subfolders within that parent folder. However, when editing a bookmark, all the parent folders are expanded, displaying every subfolder as well (screenshot 2). It's an absolute nightmare to look at and a pain navigate. It would be more helpful if editing worked the same as viewing.

Dont give me the link of the how to with a desktop/laptop/typerwriter i left that obsolete trash behind 10 years ago.

Im getting pretty annoyed at the lack of possiblities of importing bookmarks. There seem to be no available apps that deal with this and of course mozilla hasnt caught on that this is a common sense requirement of users 🙄

Someone tell me there is an option to import bookmarks that im missing please.

Quick Question - I was stupid and reset my account forgetting I had a recovery key so lost all my data. I realized an old iphone still has most of my bookmarks - how can I export from Firefox iOS app without syncing with my firefox account (which will then wipe out the data)

is this possible? Or could I create a new firefox account, then login into on my phone while keeping my bookmarks? Then export when the new account sync my old phone's data by logging into the new account on my computer? Thanks!!

I have a lot of Folders Full of bookmarks and I can't find them and It seems like a lot of bookmarks, not in folders are also missing. I am on iPhone 11 Pro Max iOS 17 XX. You need suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you. "Solved"

You guys ever going to get around to improving how to interact with bookmarks? When I have downtime during the day and I'd like to move my bookmarks around I can't! This has been an issue for a long time and I know others have asked. This is the one huge reason why I feel forced to use other browsers on my phone when not at home! Please get on this so I can just say on one browser for phone and home.

Recently my Firefox browser updated, but my bookmarks didn't.

If I try about:profiles from the address bar, nothing happens.

How do I go about accessing other profiles and enhanced settings on Android.

I don't understand why my bookmarks are and other settings weren't migrated, or why before the update a warning wasn't displayed that the data would be lost or why it wasn't exported as plain text so that nothing was lost??

The official instructions say to put a bookmark in a folder click on three dots, click to edit, then click on either a particular folder or some non-existent generic folder button. In my version of android Firefox, neither alternative is possible. If I go from the edit bookmark screen to the preceding general screen (where the folders are listed) and click on a folder, both happens, the bookmark is not transferred to the folder. As for the second, one is told to open the edit function and then click on the folder button. But there is no folder button. How to do it? I'm running android 14 on a Galaxy A14.
