Anybody. I'm ending up with dozens of tabs open because: 1. every time I hit HOME on my work tab, a new tab open up. One after another. It doesn't take long to have dozens of tabs open. Can anybody help me out here?

I am trying to set the default Map application to Google Maps, which is the best. Apple is the worst. I like the Duck Duck, and want to keep it, but this map problem doesn't even allow Google Maps to appear in the search results!

This is an hard problem for me -- Apple sold out a long time ago and offer an inferior app.

Is there any solution?

Firefox is creating very high CPU use with many WebThumbnailExtension Web Connect processes. The processes disappear after shutting down Firefox and other programs that access the internet. Does anyone have an answer on how to prevent this from happening?

As detected by Malwarebytes, it keeps blocking the site, quarantining the site, and the site in question is, mysearchengine.co. I do not know why this site keeps popping up, it's irritating. As such, I want a way to completely remove this weird search engine.

Hello, Long time user and lover. Never had any problems with your great browser. This past week, on my phone, Firefox has been flagged "high battery background usage" and is continuously trying to put app to deep sleep. What has happened? How do I stop this? Hi, I have an HTML page - currently on the desktop PC - that contains a few graphics (they relate to IPA sounds) and a bit of javascript which will make the sounds play when the user mouses-over the graphic, and stop on mouse-out. The script uses <embed> tags. I know these arent favoured but I think they should still work, as they have in the past, so the script itself is fine. But there is no sound (obviously I have checked the src is correct and made sure the speakers are on and working. They are.) W10, FF ver 128.6.0esr (64-bit)

Translation extension on firefox doesn't have an option for translating Chinese. I downloaded all the available languages and Chinese was not among them however I have found in the past that Chinese is the language which I most often come across sites,web pages, apps,etc written in and needing translated into English.

I just installed Mozilla VPN but when it's active my internet connection stops working. Pretty sure whatever protocol it's using is the problem with the WIFI signal, but I can't find how to change the protocol like every other VPN service allows. How do I change the VPN protocol? There is strangely no article already on this site for this common problem.

Since the last update its a mess. My advisors are telling me its loading slow I cannot connect with them in their chat............Chrome is fine

Help please. Can anyone provide a step-by-step guide to get a Thunderbird calendar (PC based) to automatically synch with the native iOS calendar app (running on ipad and iphone)? I have Thunderbird 128.1.0esr installed. iOS 17.6.1 installed on devices. Prior versions of Thunderbird solved this problem with the use of a third party add-on TbSync this product is no longer available under TB 128

started receiving this error message while on musify.club. It lets me in, then after a few moments the pop up comes back with same code. after research, it has been deemed that I'm only party affected but I can get in on other devices with no issues from same wifi network. please advise. win 10 pc user. thanks.

On Wednesday, July 17, 2024, and years prior to this date; in fact since I first got my laptop, I was able to clear my cookies and cache. I would go to my menu, select History and select Clear Recent History. The box to clear my cookies and cache would show, and I would click on Clear. When I would go back to the menu, and select History, it would show Empty.

On Thursday, July 18, 2024, and since, I have not been able to clear my cookies and cache. All the days of entries since July 18. 2024 are piling up.

I certainly do not know what changed. I would appreciate your listing step by step what I need to do to get my cookies and cache to work/clear.

Or, if you can just fix the problem, please. My laptop is Windows 10, and I use Firefox. Thank you.

This also transferred my Thunderbird profile folder. It has the extension .default and an 8-digit combination of letters and numbers in front of it. Since the old version of Thunderbird no longer ran on Sonoma, I installed Thunderbird 115.15.0 and then opened Thunderbird on the new MacBook Air. Switching off the hardware acceleration, clearing the cache and changing the themes did not improve the situation either. With the themes, I can only switch between dark, light and system theme - automatically. I checked and made sure that Thunderbird actually loads the .default profile folder from my old computer as the active profile. However, Thunderbird has also automatically set up a second profile with the extension .default-release. Could this be causing the problem? My active profile folder has a size of 15.21 GB and the new .deault-release profile folder has 18.6 MB. Both profile folders are located in Library/Thunderbird/Profiles I am quite desperate and hope that someone can help me. Thank you very much!
