The new menu doesn't contain at least two very requently used actions:

- reload the page - go forward

There is no way to disable the new menu and revert the old behavior.

Some websites won't load at all while other are very slow to load but some will load just fine, example Crunchyroll (screenshot attached) won't load at all its just spinning loading icon and a white page but if I try it in a different browser it works just fine, but with Youtube it will load but is choppy and low quality videos and same thing as before I load it in a different browser and no problems. I have tried every possible solution I can find from clearing cookies and cache to refreshing Firefox even scanned for malware and virus nothing has worked please help me figure out what is happening and why it's only with Firefox that I am having this problem and its not hardware can play online just fine and download games from steam perfectly fine.

When starting a New Message I start typing the recipients name, but Thunderbird stops at the first letter of the name and takes about 20 seconds to respond before bringing up a list of correspondents.

I've been experiencing continuous crashes with the Firefox app on my iOS device, and it's becoming quite frustrating. Despite following all the recommended measures, the issue persists. Here's what I've tried so far:

Keeping only a few tabs open at a time. Deleting and reinstalling the app. Ensuring both iOS and Firefox are updated to the latest versions. Restarting my phone multiple times. None of these steps have resolved the problem. It almost feels like I'm being forced to either abandon iOS or switch to a different browser. Has anyone else faced similar issues or found a solution?

When saving images from websites using the save image as feature, Firefox will freeze up and not register any mouse click or anything instead making a ding noise every time is register a mouse click. This will continue for like 30 seconds before it becomes normal then it will repeat this for every image. How can I solve this?

Thunderbird very slow to respond when opening the program. On opening any email it freezes for a couple of seconds resulting in a "Wait for the program to respond" or "close program message" . This also happens when performing any action in Thunderbird. This has been happening for the past two or three weeks. Can you tell me how to fix this or is it something you need to do to fix.

I am running Thunderbird 128 (any version) on a Surface Pro 9 running Windows 11. After sleep/hibernate or going into energy-saving mode, TB hangs for a period of minutes. Eventually it comes back, but it can take 5-10 minutes.

I do not have this problem with TB 115 on the same machine, or TB 128 on other machines (e.g. running Windows 10 or Ubuntu). TB 115 on the same machine can take a few seconds to come back (longer than on my other machines), but that s OK.

I have the same expereince whether or not I am troubleshoot mode. I have created a new profile with no add-ons (and less acounts) and I have the same problem. I was wondering if it is something to do with the fact that I have 8000 folders, and somehow TB is hanging while it checks all the folders. That account is a fastmail IMAP connection, but I have experienced similar on a backup Microsoft Exchange account (again an IMAP connection) with similar number of folders.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have noticed a weird scrolling bug in Firefox since either v138.0 or v138.0.1.

If you go to https://www.architecturaldesigns.com/ and select any floor plan, if you attempt to scroll down the page the page will not let you and snap back to the top.

I tried this in Firefox troubleshooting mode with all add-ons / themes disabled and encountered the same behavior. This is something that just started happening in the last version release or two.

This is present both on Windows as well as Mac versions of the Firefox browser.

Firefox stürzt seit einigen Wochen immer wieder ab.

Auch ist es sehr langsam, oder lädt die Seiten nicht.

Auch kann ich nichts schreiben, zwischendurch.

Es nervt!

Und ein neues Update gibt es nicht.

Wenn es so weiter läuft, muss ich einen anderen Browser nehmen, was ich gar nicht möchte, da ich Firefox, seit Anfang an benutze...

Hello. My tablet, has limited memory, due to its age. I am now finding that one of the main reasons why it is so slow is because whenever I open firefox, it opens multiple firefox processes which drain the memory and in some cases crashes the system. I have followed all the advice given to reduce these multiple processes, however nothing seems to work and at least 6-8 firefox processes open each time I open it. I have unchecked the recommended performance settings as well as hardware acceleration boxes. However, I cannot find where to set the content process limit to 1. Please tell me how to do this and if there anything else I can try to stop it opening multiple processes or I may be forced to ditch Firefox altogether for an alternate such as Bing, Chrome or DuckDuckGo. firefox stalls on ubuntu and the OS says it is running but I cannot or don't know how to restart/reset it from the terminal. A reboot of the computer solves the issue but I have to re enter the bios password etc. Is there a simple solution?

I have a message that is still listed after being deleted. When I highlight the messages listed above it and below it, I can see their contents with no problem. However, when I click on the "ghost message" listing in between them, I will see the contents of the last message viewed, not the contents of the ghost message that is highlighted.

Also, when I first open Thunderbird and highlight that ghost message first, the review pane is blank, like there is no message there. Then if I click on a different message, that message's contents will show in the preview pane. Then when I go back and click on the the ghost message listing, that pane is still showing the previous message's contents.

When I click on "delete" message, I get the constant blue indicator light in the lower right glowing and nothing happens.

Recent problem, real nasty, may just have to give up on Thunderbird, at least on the Windows 10 computer.

Click on folder name in folder list, all messages previously downloaded and viewable, when the message list appears, it instantly disappears and the message list pane displays "no message found" and it proceeds to download the entire message list all over again. For some folders with over a hundred thousand messages, this is unacceptable, obviously.

hi all i get from the thunderbird app is that its not even ringing on android phone my new email notification are not ringing on the app i have a Samsung galaxy S24(android 15) and a 8GB ram but it seems to be syncing for a long time because i set to sync for all of my emails?

The last couple weeks any emails from a business only have red horizontal/vertical grid lines. If it says to view or track package it won't let me, do it. If I drag that email over to another folder it acts normal and if I drag it back to my in box it has the red lines. I've checked the emails in the server, they are normal. Also, there is yellow bar at the bottom of the attached email. It acts like a message I'm trying to send because the to is prefilled out with my email address. Ich nutze Thunderbird seit Jahrzehnten. Nun ist mir zum zweiten Mal etwas passiert, das zum Verlust meiner eingehenden E-Mails geführt hat. Ich habe die Komprimmierungsanfrage bestätigt, und danach war der Sendeordner leer, und die Daten eines Jahres waren weg. Eine Reparatur ist nicht möglich, IMAP-Konto. Letztes Jahr passierte dasselbe, E-Mails von vor 10 Jahren waren verschwunden, nur im Sendeordner. Alle anderen Ordner sind in Ordnung. Was ist das Problem? Nie wieder Komprimierung zulassen? Das ist unglaublich ärgerlich. Viele Dinge sind unersetzlich. Wie kann ich das in Zukunft verhindern? Warum betrifft das nur den Sendeordner eines Kontos?

Focus crashed a lot on my old phone, but it crashes even more on my Z Flip 5. Usually it happens when I attempt to switch tabs, but sometimes it happens even when I have only a single tab. The crash reports all look mostly the same, this is the most recent:

For the past few weeks, my PC reliably crashed after a few chess games on chess.com with Firefox. GPU and Memory benchmarks are running through without issues, it did crash when starting a Steam game once before, but I wasn't able to find out why. At this point, I'm really curious to learn about what could possibly cause this, but don't really know where to look for it. Really wondering what special thing is happening after a game there that doesn't happen with other websites/browsers. Would really appreciate your help!

Running Wayland on Archlinux 6.15.7 with AM5 CPU and DDR5 memory. Sometimes wondering if it's a graphics issue since my display is connected via the iGPU, but I also have an NVIDIA graphics card installed that I use for games sometimes.
