I recently downloaded Firefox on my Android device. It's been fine. However today, there was an issue. I have the settings set on my phone so bookmarks appear on the homepage. However, today, for some reason, the bookmark on the homepage was glitched. I'm not sure why, but I figured I just had to reset it. So I go rid of the bookmark on the homepage, and redid the bookmark. It was working again, but now, the bookmark isn't appearing on the homepage anymore. It's just a blank homepage, even though my settings are still the same. I've turned the settings on and off, reset fire fox, cleared cache, and the bookmark still isn't showing up. Pleas help me.

I'm trying to sync data from my computer to my phone. When I go to the settings, there is NO "sync and save data " option on my phone. So, how then do I sync and save?

Hi, I want to disable the "Thought-provoking stories" shortcuts from the home / new tab page on Android.

Following the other forum posts and https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/hide-pocket-recommendations-firefox there should be a switch for "Thought-provoking stories" under Settings - Homepage - Shortcuts, but I don't see it. What can I do? Thank you for your help.

Even though I've never changed my settings aside from the first time I changed them to my preferred settings, for whatever reason, Firefox no longer opens links I tap on in external apps. I changed the settings to do it that way the very first time and it worked fine up until a little while ago. Now, the only way it opens a link in the external app when I tap on it, is if I tap and hold, and then choose that option in the pop-up menu. As I said, in the settings it IS set to open links in external apps, but it doesn't do it anymore.

As a stakeholder, I am unhappy with Anthony Enzor-DeMeo's ideas to incorporate more AI into the Firefox browser in the future. Most internet browsers are using AI nowadays, and I think Firefox's lack of AI makes it a very appealing browser for users. This is because new AI technology annoys many people. As other browsers continue to incorperate more and more AI, this will increase Firefox's appeal for users who are annoyed with AI.

Overall, I think Firefox will be a much better browser if it does not incorperate AI. It will mean a lot to me if these concerns are taken into account. Thank you for all that you have done.

I have tried to solve this problem by using AI,but I have followed the steps given by Deepseek, I have made sure my device are support HEVC and AVC hardware decoding (Snapdragon 870), I also tried to switch my UA to Safari 18, MacOS X, it couldn't help either,but I do the same steps on Edge Canary it works. It bothered me a lot,every time I switched the quality options to 8k,the video playback becomes very According to edge://gpu, I'm very sure 8k video hardware decoding is available on my device. I'm quite annoyed about the new Android Firefox menu update. It takes up so much more space on the screen for not really adding any extra usability and the New Tab button is entirely gone in spite of there being plenty of space to have included it. Where did it go? I'd really prefer to have it back.

1. When we press Home button in the app toolbar, It opens a new tab and sends the active tab in background instead of closing the tab. The correct working of Home button is to show Homepage in current tab. For opening new tab, we can use "New Tab" option. Because of this all tabs keep getting stored in background and it's quote irritating.

2. Same for back swipe gesture, the tab gets stored in background instead of closing. For example, I clicked on an Article in Google Feed, it redirects to Firefox, now after reading the article, I swiped back to go back to Google Feed. Now swiping back gesture doesn't close the active tab, instead it stored the tab in background. Because of this too much tabs gets stored in background and need manual effort to remove the tabs.

So, Fix these two features.

When switching to another app from Firefox and then switching back to firefox, the webpage reloads. This is not a memory issue, I have enough RAM and it happens even if I only have 1 tab open. This is a major pain when I need to enter a 2FA code and need to swith apps to get the code. Or if I'm watching a YouTube video and get a call, the youtuve page reloads after the call has ended. Please suggest how to fix this.

Hello, after updating the mobile Firefox to version 135, I encountered a problem. When I start speeding up video playback on YouTube, a clicking sound regularly appears, as if it’s a micro-stutter in the audio. I uninstalled and reinstalled the browser, and the issue persists even on a clean browser with no extensions. A similar issue also exists in the beta version of Firefox 136 and the nightly version 137, which I installed for testing without making any changes. To check, I installed Firefox 134 again, and the issue does not occur there. My phone, the Tecno Pova 6 Neo, is relatively powerful with an 8-core processor at 2.2 GHz and 8 GB of RAM. Today, using Firefox--or at least what i think is Firefox--i checed session history while logged into my mega.nz account. It lists 2 instances, one of which is for 3 days prior when I originally set up the Mega account using the Mega app, and the other is for yesterday when I entered the account using the FF browser--or, again, what i think is the FF browser. What's curious is that it shows i was using the Chrome browser, and that I'm apparently still using this browser as it's listed as the "Current" session. How can this be? While I have the Chrome app on my phone, I disabled it long ago and have never used it, and most certainly did not use it during the time and activities in question. I have long speculated that I have been hacked and that my phone is sometimes (always?) controlled by this hacker, though no solid proof. Assuming the hacker uses Chrome, could this be reflecting their using the Chrome browser, as opposed to the FF browser, which I'm currently using (or think im using)? In other words, is this the proof of a hack? Or is this a glitch within Mega, mistakingly listing Chrome as my browser?

Just as the title goes. I've been using Mozilla Firefox on desktop since 2005. The best hands down browser ever. I started using Firefox on android back in 2019.

I still love the android version, but my only problem with it is tabs. They stay open constantly. In the desktop application you close out and all the tabs close. In the android version I swipe up and there still there next time I load in. I don't like this at all. Unless I quit out of Firefox from the submenu, the tabs will stay open indefinitely.

I was hoping Mozilla could add an option to auto close tabs in 6 hours or something like that. Or close out tabs when I swipe up in android.

I have moved about 20 friends and family to Firefox and it's always going to be Firefox from now on. You guys rock!

I want Mozilla Firefox as a default search engine in my Firefox browser. But I am unable to do so. There is no option to make it as default search engine in the app. Please help me as soon as possible.

Getting a weird issue. When I open Firefox Beta, if it is not already running it loses focus on Firefox and pops open the Google Play Store over the top of Firefox on its Firefox Beta page. It's doing this consistently and repeatably. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy A52 5G on the latest update of Android 14.
