Hi . My email messages are failing to down load . I am getting a message stating that the Thunderbird Certificate for pop3 has expired . Is there a solution for this ?

I'm currently using FF 134.0.2 on a Mac running Sonoma 14.6.1. I'm unable to use the Find shortcut (⌘ + f), but I am able to use other shortcuts in Sheets: ⌘ + c, ⌘ + v, ⌘ + Option + m. That shortcut operates as expected on other sites, opening the Find pop-up at the bottom of the browser. It's not working within Sheets to search a spreadsheet or at the browser-level when on a Sheets tab.

Any idea why that one shortcut isn't working?

I donated and installed thunderbird on my laptop last week. I have donated twice more in the last few days to install thunderbird on my android phone in the last few days unsuccessfully. I do not know what I am doing wrong. Can you help me?

When I press a hotkey that involves Ctrl (ie. opening a new Tab via Ctrl+T or closing one via Ctrl+W) Ctrl sometimes remains stuck until I press it again. This will cause issues ie. when I open a new tab and try to type a new address (or search term), and Ctrl causes new hotkeys to be executed.

I've even tried launching firefox with a new profile, and on safe mode (firefox --safe-mode -p <something-else-than-usual>), so no bookmarks, cookies or extensions should be causing this, and it will still happen sometimes. The annoying part is that this seems to be an issue with performance. It happens less-often with the empty profile and safe mode, but it still happens, especially if I had just opened a new page some tab, causing the most minute thing for firefox to process.

The problem is probably not the computer specs either (below my specs). Indeed, from what I can tell, firefox does not even seem to function particularily slow in any case. Just this ctrl being stuck seems to happen.

I have also tried disabling hardware-acceleration (and explicitly enabling it), no effect.

Other interesting facts I've discovered: - This for sure does not happen in other programs and - This does not happen with the Ctrl for all the keybinds within firefox. For example, Ctrl+A (for select all) does not trigger this

(I have no idea why it's reporting that I'm using Sway, I'm most certainly only using labwc, maybe labwc just reports sway for some programs for compatibility) I've installed firefox from pacman, and my current version is firefox 134.0.1-1

I’ve got a minor but annoying Quick Filter button issue which just cropped up today out of nowhere, and haven’t been able to find an exact match for all these symptoms in any other problem reports.

Toggling my Quick Filter button works as expected, picking up the individual active filter buttons. However, in some instances of launching TB its on/off status indicator always displays as active regardless of individual filter button status. Weirder still, in other cases it always displays as inactive. It’s an intermittent problem, which always persists in one way or the other.

Further details:

- Problem is also present in safe mode, with the single plugin I use (CardBook) disabled.

- General display settings are “Theme Simple” and “Variant Normal” (not “Dark”).

- There are no automatic filters configured in “Tools > Message Filters”.

- Individual filter buttons are all working properly, including correct status indicators.

- Running current TB version (128.7.0esr 64-bit) on Windows 10 with all OS patches up to date.

An example:

Image 1: “Show only unread messages” button is active, and the Quick Filter button also displays as such (both indicators are correct).

Image 2: All individual filter buttons are inactive, yet the Quick Filter button still indicates a filter is active.

I work as a deputy at my local sheriff’s office and utilize iSOMS by M&M Micro Systems. On patrol, we use this system for our live dispatch call screen. When the sun sets, I was able to enable dark mode which allowed the CAD to retain all the normal (non-inverted) colors and keep all text looking normal. This was very helpful at night and kept the screen looking very clean. Firefox for my iPad is the only approved browser that has (or had) a truly awesome night mode that worked for our needs; so much so that I’m the one that recommended it and IT pushed it out to everyone for use. Since a recent Firefox app update, the dark mode is no longer working as it used to. The screen is now gray instead of black and the text is distorted and barely readable. There are lines going horizontally across the screen and the colors aren’t displaying correctly. Can someone please help?! We really miss having the dark mode like it was, it was soooo much easier on our eyes at night. Hoping a developer sees this and reaches out too. Thank you!!!

I have recently migrated to Firefox from Chrome.

I cannot paste images (screenshots) directly into my Outlook emails.

I can insert a picture file but this is way less convenient than taking a screenshot via the Snipping Tool and pasting directly into my emails.

I cannot find any setting or configuration that would enable this functionality.

This functionality sure worked in that other browser.

I installed Thunderbird for Android today on my Moto g stylus. I used the QR code to import the settings from Thunderbird on my Windows 10 laptop. In general, things seem to be working, but outgoing messages are not being copied to the "sent" folder. I can see older "sent" messages that were sent from my Windows 10 Thunderbird, but no sent messages that originated from my phone. I have an IMAP mail server.

I have a folder on my desktop labelled "Local Folders", which contains the emails I have put into seperate folders. My Thunderbird start page does not show those folders in the Folder Pane on the left. It only shows folders like inbox, trash etc. Can anyone help?
