I updated Firefox this morning to 139.0.4 on my Mac and now the '+' sign to add a new tab no longer appears on the tab bar. I can still add new tabs with Command T however.
Any suggestions on how to restore the '+' sign?

There should be an option in Firefox (Android version) to configure DNS settings as we can do in its Desktop application.

I'm running Firefox 139.0.1 on Mac Sonoma 14.7.1.
Since FF V138, I've had this extremely frustrating problem where, approximately once a day and while the application is still running, Firefox seems to either auto-revert to an older version' 'or otherwise mess up the installation files. I don't get any notice this is happening until I try to open a new tab and it brings up the "You must restart Firefox" notice. When I click Restart, it pops up with "You've launched an older version of Firefox, so you won't keep any of your bookmarks because that would be unstable" error.
The only way I've found to fix it is to redownload the most recent install files, which, after the fresh install, will allow me to keep using Firefox with my bookmarks for the next 5-6 hours, before the whole process starts again.
I theoretically have auto-updates off; my settings are set to the other option, "Check for updates but let you choose to install them". Doesn't seem to make a difference. It only does this on my Mac; the FF install on my Windows machine works fine.
I really want to keep using FF. It's my preferred personal browser. But this is really messing with me! I was hopeful that 139.1 would fix it but same issue, so far.

When using the new version of Firefox, I found that bookmarks only appeared in new tabs. Once I opened other web pages, there were no bookmarks above the screen, which made me feel inconvenient. Previously, the new tabs could also be customized, but now they can only be blank or the default pages of Firefox. So, can the new version of Firefox solve these problems? Or which of the older versions of Firefox can still meet my requirements?

In Chrome, for example, if you type "maps" in the address bar, it will autofill to "maps.google.com", which then redirects to the correct URL, "google.com/maps". Initially, it doesn’t do this, but if you do it repeatedly, Chrome eventually learns and sends you directly to that URL when you type "maps". The same happens with "gmail" or even just "gm", which redirect to "gmail.com" or "mail.google.com". Does Firefox have this kind of feature?
I think I browsed a reddit thread from a few years ago asking this same problem having something to do with autofill frequency which doesn't work, because the actual url is not, in the example of maps, maps.google.com and the url I want to enter redirects to it.

I went to the Epson support site on Firefox and Malwarebytes blocked the site as malware... It said I could add the site as approved, but I don't know how to do that. "https://www.epsoncom.com/my-account/home". The Epson site said I already had an account but my password was incorrect. Open from pinned tab 2. Now opens in a new tab → Previously it opened in the same tab 3. Clicking on a newly opened tab opens a new tab again → Previously it would open pinned tabs/same tabs → in a new tab It has changed. I haven't changed any of my Firefox settings. Windows 11 Home 23H2 Firefox version 139.0.4 (64-bit).
