I am on MacOS Monterey running Firefox 130.0. Tonight, I restarted my Mac. Upon startup, Firefox offered to restore my session, as always, but it did not restore everything. In fact, I had one window open that had many tabs (some important) and that is gone.

I'm a bit puzzled and I wonder if I've found a bug?

As you can see from the screenshot i provided and as you can read from subject of this very annoying issue Firefox new 130 update has changed my URL bar and now stuff are missing to the point that links to Outlook and some other stuff that were in address bar URL because i wanted them there and now they place has been taken by namely foxovizija.blogspot.com and watchonlyfoolsandhorses.com and ajax.nl/shop just because i watched few episodes of fools and horses on that link same goes for foxovizija and browsed some items in ajax fan shop! I WANT DOES LINK GONE FROM MY URL so i can put links that i want to be in there and FF 130 address bar being populated by only the links i want to be there and stay that way! and one more thing i want to get rid of that ugly search with google thing because i don't even use google,further more once all of a sudden in FF 130 MY BROWSER IS MANAGED BY MY ORGANIZATION ? That was never there before this update ,so with all that has been said and screenshot as proof i beg you and plea on your kindness and knowledge to give me guidance how to fix this URL thing first,then how to remove THIS BROWSER IS MANAGED BY YOUR ORGANIZATION and last but not least how to block further FF updates because every new update is worse then the next and just keep pushing the whole browser down the drain ! My firefox crash, I uninstall and re-install. i logged to my Mozilla account and the sync does not work. I don't have my password or my bookmark.

I still have everything on my phone How can I force the sync or retrieve data in an xml/csv file ?

I only have a few tabs open at any one time, usually only one or two. I only have adblock plus and bitwarden as extensions. But when I open firefox desktop, even before I've navigated to any page, it is using a few hundred MB to almost a GB of memory.

I have tried everything ... mime video/ogg doesn't work at all. I started my old Angular application in which i had my camera feed shown (it was working like year or two ago).

So i tried to fix it, first it seemed it just need "muted" and "autoplay" set as parameters in <video> HTML tag. But then it just did not worked at all.

Detailed description: So i have tried use [CanPlayType] With params : "video/ogg" - it returned empty string so it is not supported However when i check your documentation here [Ogg containers] it says it is supported ...

I included picture with working stream and this is a tag i used:

(+ in angular i added mentioned muted and autoplay + load() and play() )

I have tried to transcode to this formats too Theora video and Vorbis audio in Ogg container

And use them in video tag param. like : type="video/ogg; codecs="theora, vorbis"" or type='video/ogg; codecs="theora, vorbis"' did not work.

(This was one that i used before and always:

--sout '#transcode{vcodec="theo",venc=theora{quality=3},vb="",scale="0.25"} :standard{mux=ogg,access=http,dst=":8753"}' 

that worked before)

Then i tried look up some example of code to just see it doesnt work at all (example of guide with not working video/ogg : https://tekeye.uk/html/html5-video-test-page See/search for "3: HTML5 Ogg Video Test" )

Please refer me to bug report or issue report i can provide any additional information.

Hi there,

Firefox is my default browser but increasingly (once a week I guess) I have to use chrome to access some sites. This happens with firefox only, (not other browsers) on some sites. The latest site is https://www.skyscanner.ie/. (see screenshot below).

Any ideas?

My environment is windows 11 on a lenovo yoga slim7X using the ARM64 chipset

This is a continuing problem that showed up on version 127, maybe 128, and continued through 129, and now to 130.0.

Attempts using Firefox to play movies at HD (highest 6GB data resolution) fail. Using, for example, the Edge browser works fine. This problem showed up as noted in the first sentence of this post. Manually changing an obscure "about:config" variable from 1 to 0 did not fix the problem.

I just updated to 130.0, immediately tried to play a movie at highest resolution, it failed. Changed the obscure variable from the value it had, 0, to 1 and it failed still. Changed it back to 0 and it failed.

hi I reinstalled my windows recently. before that , i made sure im singed in with this email address to protect my passwords with firefox sync. (eb.movahhed58@gmail.com)

after installing the new firefox , i figured my passwords are gone and they werent restored from my account.

Typing about:config in the address bar does not bring up a list of configuration files. All it does is produce a google search list of YouTube and Mozilla help sites. How can I access Firefox configuration files so I can stop websites from refreshing?

When visiting a site with a Input=Number field and clicking on it and scrolling nothing happens when it should change the value as if i had pressed up or down arrow.

At some point Firefox stopped allowing me to drag tabs or bookmarks around. This includes moving tabs around in their order, dragging a tab into a new window, dragging tabs into bookmarks, moving bookmarks around in the browser. I can't drag them around in 'manage bookmarks' either. I can still open and create bookmarks; they are simply much more difficult to place where I want them.

I believe this happened with the last update but it's not a feature I use all that often so it could be older.

I have opened Firefox in safe mode and had the same issue. I have turned off the computer several times since this began.

Any help would be appreciated.

I found the new "Close Duplicate Tabs" and would like to suggest the following, for improvement for power users.

1) It should be possible to configure an option for what should happen with the duplicate tabs. For example: it should be possible to move all the Duplicate Tabs to a new Window - so I can view all these tabs and compare them (and close them if I want that) Reason: I use a web interface to a database for documentation and sometimes I have more than one tab open with the same article - but the software behind it doesn't notice, it just stores what comes out and so it would happen that an article is accidentally overwritten.

2) According to what criteria are the duplicate tabs compared - can you set options here?

When I go on eBay the first website page is fine. However when I click on a link to a product I get weird web pages with a heading "breadcrumb" and the page comes out with only a few images and this strange lot of directional arrows. When I paste the webpage address into another webpage exactly the same problem. When I paste the address into Chrome, no problem, the page comes up correctly with all the images and not this weird page I get with Firefox. I prefer to use Firefox and I would really rather not have to change to Chrome or MS Edge.

I didn't always have this problem, it seemed to have been more recently and seems to be only with eBay. I imagine it's something in the settings that somehow switched and I need to switch it back.

I've had trouble with this in the past where logging into Ring won't let me get past my user name/email address. I can hit enter, reload the page, try using tab but nothing works. Then for some unknown reason it will go forward to the password. But this time it just won't let me proceed no matter what I do, the continue option stays grayed out. I can sign on using Edge but I don't want to use Edge or even have a second browser open just so I can see my security camera. I want Firefox to work correctly.

my tabs are crashing all the time whenever i try to open it.this thing is happening from a month as whenever i try to open some tabs for my work its showing that "gah! your tab just crashed!"...... please sovle this problem as fast as possible

I've been struggling with this issue for a few months. After Firefox updates, my toolbar layout gets reset and I have to re-do it from scratch. If that wasn't bad enough, occasionally when this happens it also enters this state where nothing loads. All tabs just get stuck in blank screen "dancing dot mode". Yes, google, everything. To "fix" this, I go into troubleshoot mode, and back to normal again, and then it's "fixed"... until it happens again a few days later. I can actually rebuild my toolbar layout in under 15 seconds now, I've done it so many times. I've tried doing the 'refresh'. Many times. I've fully uninstalled and re-installed Firefox. I uninstalled plugins that I suspected might be the cause. Nothing worked. At best these measures kept firefox stable a couple of weeks longer. I actually gave up and tried other browsers for a while. Any insight is appreciated.

For years I had my Firefox sync working fine between Win10 PC, Android and several Win10 laptops. However yesterday I installed Windows 11 on the same PC I have Windows 10 (bought new disk) just to have a fresh install. Started with installing firefox - and here when problems begin. It couldn't let me log in into Sync, I was being immediately logged out ("Account disconnected"). Somehow I managed to log in, but then all my previous data was erased (passwords, bookmarks). I thought ok, maybe later it's gonna sync. Started installing extensions, saved one password. When trying to sync tabs with Android phone it didn't work, it couldn't see any tabs (but it could share tabs between devices!). On Android I still have old passwords and bookmarks saved, same as on old Win10 (on which I got logged out). Alright - it didn't sync after restart so I removed Firefox profile on machine, started again with logging in - and it synced only ONE password that I saved previously on same Win11 machine, with extensions I freshly installed back then. So it saved to sync improper data, forgetting about old? Logged out from all of my machines in Firefox Account. Now I'm back to my original machine on Windows 10. And what? I can't log in! Same error as on Win11 after install - "Account disconnected". Checked about:sync-log and found error logs - pasted into "Troubleshooting information" of this post.
