I would like to review a listing of all the extensions recommended by Mozilla for FF. One would think a list exists somewhere. But my searching for recommended extensions have not yielded the anticipated results. I found an article on the recommended extension program, but no list. If the answer is obvious, forgive me, but I didn't see it.

As a longtime user of Firefox, I had a nice setup where after the start page, clicking on the Firefox icon would take me to a page headed "Firefox" in large letters. On that page I had placed the icons for my frequently used programs. Each of the small "icon boxes" had menus that would allow entering a URL so that when clicked, the desired app would open. I was exploring MS Bing, mostly because I like the pictures they put up each day. It looks as though a "new Improved" version of Bing brings along the new MS AI component. Together they seem to have removed my Firefox setup or hidden it where I can't retrieve it. By using Firefox settings, I was able to remove the Bing URL. Good riddance!, but can I retrieve my page of links to most-used programs? I don't know where to look for that. If I have to reconstruct it, how is that done. Or how can I start a replacement. I opened Tbird to see what version the new Ubu 24.04 installed (115.12.0, which I discovered wouldn't be published, so I downloaded v.r.2. In this set of FF (127.0.1) pages now, the mouse wheel will not scroll. It works everywhere else in my installation (24.04).

Ideas?

FF settings have "smooth scrolling" checked; unchecked it did nothing to improve. mouse is a ~recent Logitech (M317c) which as noted, works in all other apps.

Websites look extremely ugly because of the white borders surrounding icons. I've tried using CSS code I found on Reddit from posts that - I think - are related to my issue, but they proved fruitless.

What CSS/Setting do I have to disable to get rid of this?

I have several g-mail accounts that I used to open on Firefox - until yesterday. Now I'm getting a silly message below:

I'm working on ASUS, on Windows 86bit. If I reboot my PC g-mail works again for a couple of hours. I have no problem accessing my g-mail accounts from Chrome.

So, this is going to be an incredibly weird question, but is anyone else having this issue? As of about two days ago, any time I try and load a video on youtube it will refuse to load for upwards of 30 seconds, however if I toggle the new stable volume option off/on it instantly loads. It will then play for about 2-3 minutes or more depending on video length (sometimes way more) before the buffer bar will stop entirely, take over two minutes to load the video again, then keep playing. More often than not doing this multiple times per singular video. Often times it won't even load anymore at all and I am forced to refresh the page and toggle the stable volume once again.

I've tried disabling every single extension I have, including ad blockers, restarting the entire browser, and using a different account, and it still happens no matter what. However it is not an issue that occurs on chrome or edge, so I'm at a complete loss of what is causing this. Looking up this issue comes up with next to no results, so is it possible this is a youtube issue or is something seriously wrong with my browser and I need to re-install it?

Even when i set it on start from where i left off, after closing my Mozilla desktop application my all tabs get reset which have been quite problematic for me.

In regards for this, please solve this problem as soon as possible as it keeps hindering with my work

I've been experiencing a problem in Firefox where, when I scroll, the incoming part of the page momentarily goes blank and then loads to normal. This issue becomes more pronounced on pages with a lot of elements. Also, this issue becomes more vivid in smaller screens compared to larger ones. It feels like the browser is taking time to paint the part of the page.

This issue only occurs in Firefox. I have tried this in Chrome and Safari.

Here's what I have already tried:

• Disabled hardware acceleration and WebGL.
• Disabled smooth scroll and auto-scroll.
• Opened Firefox in safe mode (troubleshoot mode).
• Confirmed that I have no extensions or add-ons installed.
• Reset Firefox.

Despite these attempts, the issue persists. This problem is affecting the usability of the website. How can I resolve this scrolling issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

wise.com is a site I've used for a long time with Firefox. Now I can't log in. Access is still available from the Chrome browser, but I prefer Firefox

Dzień dobry, Po pierwsze chciałbym zapytać co mogło się wydarzyć- kilka dni temu po próbie otworzenia przeglądarki wyskoczył jakiś błąd, przez co musiałem zainstalować przeglądarkę jeszcze raz. Efektem tego jest usunięcie wszystkich zakładek i ustawień. Jeśli jest taka możliwość to prosiłbym o poradę w jaki sposób mógłbym przywrócić wcześniejsze ustawienia. Zacząłem ponownie dostosowywać przeglądarkę i napotkałem problem, a mianowicie po zainstalowaniu rozszerzenie nie pokazuje się on na górnym pasku jak miało to miejsce wcześniej. Jeśli nie ma możliwości przywrócenia wcześniejszych ustawień i zakładek to proszę o pomoc w dodaniu rozszerzenia do paska.

Hi. About 2-3 weeks ago all of my websites that I use to started making me log in.

I seemed to have lost all of my saved passwords so I typed them all back in.

Now, most of them make me press the log on button and then my userid and password are primed in there so all I have to do is press enter.

I find this kind of frustrating. I don't recall changing any settings. Any ideas to change this?

I have a desktop computer. I use Firefox as my browser. I've been playing the Marapets game for years. As of 2 days ago, I can't "buy" items in the Marapets.com game site. I can play the rest of the game, but cannot buy items. If I go to Chrome, I can buy items. I am told the BUY button is linked to CAPTCHA, but I don't know what that means. Would you be able to help me so I can continue to use Firefox for this game?

I have in my laptop a external webcam a Logitech Webcam C930e. The webcam is a HD webcam with 1080p. But in Google Meet in Firefox I can only configure it at 720p but in Chrome I can configure it at 1080p. Why have that behavior?

Just for info this site works fine on other browsers on same machine, and on other machines. It is a Firefox issue.
