Hi all,

Just updated to version 142.0.1. I now have the annoying behaviour back that video's on a website pop out on the screen while scrolling on a webpage and they are in the way of the text. I don't want any videos popping out. In the past I had it resolved somehow, so it looks like the update "undid" these. If I'm correct I might have changed a setting in the about:config.

I found multiple articles stating to uncheck "Enable PIP controls" in the setings, section [General] - [Browsing]. This options was moved to the [Firefox Labs] section within the setting. This option however is already disabled.

How can I prevent a video popping out on the screen an float above the web page? I just want to keep it in the window\frame where it belongs.

I do not want Firefox to restore my last session unless there was a crash, and thus I have the setting "Open previous windows and tabs" unchecked. However, if I reboot my PC and reopen Firefox, it brings up my last set of tabs. And I always close the entire Firefox window before shutting down, so there's no way it should think that it had crashed. This doesn't seem to happen when I close Firefox and reopen within the same PC session (i.e. without shutting down in between).

When opening Firefox version 147 it asked if I wanted to install updates and after answering affirmative, then it gave "Error: Platform version '147.03' is not compatible with minversion >=147.02 maxversion <=147.02. Maybe try to reinstall Firefox?" The browser will not open. What is the workaround??

Latest version of Firefox browser (142.1) recently installed on my laptop and desktop both running Windows 10. The former continues to support Flightradar 24. The latter no longer does. Message reads 'Unfortunately, your current browser does not support WebGL2 . . . most major browsers (including Firefox) do'! Is there a reason for this anomaly, please? Plus a solution? Hello Firefox Support,

Since the latest update of the Firefox browser, I have been experiencing frequent freezes. The browser becomes unresponsive when performing basic actions such as:

• Clicking on the menu

• Closing tabs

• Copying or editing the URL

When this happens, the only way to recover is to close Firefox and reopen it.

Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue?

How to remove google search from the address bar on the right?????

I want to find my most visited websites in the address bar without any unnecessary actions!!!

After a few days of having no internet connection, my account was disconnected from my PC and saved passwords disappeared. After signing in to my account again and syncing, lost passwords were not recovered. I need help to recover them.

For the very first time, today I got the following, "Gah. Your tab just crashed." and it now happens every time. What's up? Is this a Mozilla problem? Should I be moving on to a new browser? Help!

Why did retrieving messages suddenly stop. It was working yesterday and I made no changes to anything. I can send successfully. I am using Shaw/Rogers Pop server.

Why does "test connection to server" fail?

Hello, I have tried everything...filters, added contact, blocked senders but I'm still not receiving any email from Firefox. I need my verification numbers to continue to sign into my account. thanks in advance for helping, Scott

Reposting until I get help from someone. Windows/desktop. On Google Chrome, any streaming website I used with autoplay enabled would KEEP full screen mode ON after changing episodes. It would automatically go to a new page with the following episode and remain full screen. Why doesn't Firefox have this feature?? I'm seriously considering going back to Google Chrome for this one small feature. Every time I had any streaming service playing with autoplay enabled, I didn't have to manually select the full screen option every time. I am having to stand up and manually click full screen function. Every. Single. Time. Somebody please help me if there's a way to active that function.

Hello, I just completed a wipe of my whole device, beforehand I obviously signed up and synced up my Firefox account to keep my boomarks and data. After reinstalling Firefox I managed to sign in, sync up and get my bookmarks back - great. However after reopening of the app they were gone again and when checking back-ups the only available one was from after the "automatic wipe". I quickly checked my mobile Firefox app as well - it still showed a bigger of number of bookmarks so I had hoped they stayed at least there but after entering the folder they appeared empty and then gone completely after re-entering. Please if possible assist, it seems like Firefox decided to overwrite this data so maybe it's still somehow recoverable as these bookmarks have been collected over the years. Thank you in advance.
