Hi, I just upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 home. One of the things that has changed is that my downloads don't stay. After closing Firefox the download is there but if you click on it it says "File missing or moved".

I'm absolutely dying for this feature, it is a lifesaver in Vivaldi and Opera and other browsers, the extension options simply don't work the same as they only work when the website has finished loading and in case I've clicked on the wrong link I have to wait for it to load to go back or lose my train of thought whenever I am using this browser after a while because I'm used to the Rocker Gestures to go back and forward. Please implement this feature into the base browser, thank you very much

Not sure if anyone else is reporting this but ever since the last update - 140.0.2 Firefox Release, June 27, 2025 - many of my general sites, yahoo, news, company sites that I use everyday, do not load. I have to use Private Browsing, keep refreshing or change URL for the site to load. Anywhooos, I do appreciate you guys! keep it up!

If I need to upload a file I click on the OPEN or BROWSE button in the website, Open File dialogue opens trying to list the location it is already looking at, and it hangs for over 30 seconds before listing files. This is windows 11, but it did it when i had windows 10 too. I dont know what to do.

Hi - Firefox placed an 'Old Firefox data' folder on my desktop and I am unable to delete it. I'ver tried third party apps, logging in as administrator, command line delete, uninstalling FF but am still stuck with it and my network settings are wrecked so I can't re-establish connection to the internet on that machine. I cannot find a solution and it doesn't happen every time on the site but several times a week. I have VPN, and enhanced tracking which I've tried turning them off but I get the same reply. I'd like a fairly simple answer if possible since I'm not tech smart but need help to see if I'm doing something wrong. Firefox on Windows 11 has suddenly and without my apparent action started automatically hiding the tab bar and the address bar to give all the vertical space to the current tab. I do not like this (I have big monitors and I want those bars always visible)
How do I turn this one and why did it turn on in the first place?
