I am receiving pop-ups from what appears to be Mozilla Firefox saying: System is infected! Viruses detected, Turn on protection and delete viruses. The virus identified is ZEUS.2020 Trojan. Firefox has been running incredibly slow. I currently only have this window open, but if I open my task manger it shows 10 Firefox windows running. If I right click and end task, it will end the task, but shortly there after a new one will pop up. 1 of the is running in efficiency mode. I assume this is what is slowing down performance, but I do not know how to fix.

Hi, for a while now, Firefox (I have the latest version) hasn't been loading many pages and the "Address not found" message appears. Some pages do load all the time (X.com). I'm using Android 14.

I've cleared the cache and cookies, restarted the phone and the app, and removed privacy settings (Tracking Protection, etc.), but it's not working. Chrome loads without problems, and the rest of the apps load the internet without issue. Can you help me with this problem, please?

Firefox (current version:137.0.2 64-bit) does not allow drag from outlook on the web and drop on windows 11 file explorer. It shows a forbidden sign when i am dropping on file explorer.

My Firefox Browser keeps crashing at random times. I was using Chrome previously and it was worse than the Firefox performance. I just installed 128 GB of brand new DDR5 RAM which I tested in windows with no error. I have no malware on my computer currently. Since the last update, I believe, because this error occurs constantly and with EVERY video. This is often, not always, the case immediately after updating FF. Now it was fine for a while, but now it's so bad that I'm having trouble watching YT videos properly. Reason: Browser open, logged in to YT. Seems I've noticed an issue with playing of YouTube videos the last few days. It seems that either the video(s) is slower to load and/or is slower to play. While it's not terribly slower in human time it's slower than normal in computer time. I'm not having this problem in Chrome. Cookies and cache are cleaned multiple times a day. So, I'm a little stumped as to why I'm having this issue. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

when attempting to move Firefox bookmarks to my new computer, I click import data within the Firefox page. The computer asks me to select the file. I have no idea where the bookmarks reside and cannot find a file. What is the procedure to get this done?

This problem started yesterday. The sound in YouTube with Firefox is extremely low. As far as I can tell, the problem doesn't exist elsewhere. Other browers are OK with YouTube and other websites that have sound are OK with Firefox.

I reinstalled Firefox and rebooted the computer - still has the problem.

I'm using Windows 11 24H2 (home) on my desktop.

Firefox Containers > Manage Containers > Remove [container]; message (modal, I think it's called?) pops up to say I have a tab open and do I want to proceed? I to up to the container icon upper-right, search for [container], click to open that page, then CTRL+W to close it. Then I try to Remove [container] again; fails. That container is still in the list, and still popping up a note that a tab is open in that container (no, I closed it).

I really like the Containers feature, AND it could use some improvement.

Unrelated, I'm open to help with proofreading; feel free to ask, or point me to a git where I could contribute. I'm not happy about the apparent erosion of privacy in Firefox, but it sure beats Google, Microsoft, Apple, etc.
