I've recently removed Sidebery as a extension, as Firefox now offers a similar feature - I'm really happy for that. I'm using the sidebar with "Expand sidebar on hover" on three different computers, and notices it many times every day, that the sidebar doesn't expand when i hover my cursor over it. In that case, i usually press the sidebar button so it's expanded by default, waits a while and try again.
Sometimes i notice that it doesn't trigger when the firefox download section or history "pop-up" are open - it would be nice if it did, sometimes i need to move a downloaded file into a webpage on another tab, but can't remember what favicon - but that's not really the cause of this question.
Is there any way for me to debug the problem when it's bugging out? Or is it something known? I can't find any else complaining about it, but as said, it's on all three of my computers (Win11), which all of them have two different instances of Firefox (Normal Firefox and Dev Edition) which are all synced between computers, so all 6 browsers are "doing it", and i can't seem to find a pattern or a cause.

Hi! I'm on a relatively new to me (refurb) desktop computer running Win 10 Pro (64 bit)* and Firefox 143.0.3.
In the past week both Firefox and Win 10 have updated. I don't know what happened, but now when I boot up or reboot, my computer opens to MS Edge. Yuck!
Every single time I have to reinstall Firefox! Once I do that, all is well again. I have all my bookmarks back, etc.
It also keeps changing my "default to Firefox" browser setting, turning it OFF, while I'm using Firefox. I repeatedly have to keep going in and clicking to make FF to the default browser again.
Why is it doing this? How do I stop it?
Anyway, I know I can't delete Edge or uninstall it. How do I shove it back into the black hole it has lived in until now?

Bookmarks gone. Cannot manually add a bookmark. Ctrl B toggle works but nothing shows up. Mozilla’s offers 100 solutions- none work.

I'm trying to sync my tab groups across my desktop/laptop. I have sync enabled through the settings and I've checked every box, but I don't seem to see an option for syncing tab groups specifically. It syncs all of my bookmarks and active tabs, but the groups seem to be unique to each device. Is this feature available? I might be looking in the wrong spot so if anyone has any insight that would be great! Cheers

After updating Thunderbird to version 139.0.2 Thunderbird can't connect to my E-Mail provider! Getting error massage saying “user name or password are wrong!” It happening on my PC with windows10 Pro and the same on my laptop with windows 11 Pro. On my browser or my mobile, I can connect without any problem to my e-mail provider. After consulting my provider, his suggestion was to try installing my account again. I did but it didn’t work (same error) I tried installing older version which Thunderbird was functioning on. It didn’t work either. Even that I cleaned my PC from Thunderbird totally. To clear this point on Versions 139.0 and 139.0.1 Thunderbird function as always before. Up to now any Thunderbird update took automatically the existing setting without any problem. Something changed. I’ve tried to set up my old AOL email account multiple times using different default browsers, and the setup typically fails. Using Edge, I get “Edge: Too Many Requests” . Using Firefox, I get “Waiting for authorization in login popup…” and then the old rotating arrow. After about a minute delay, the Account Hub reports “Authentication error.” The Thunderbird Account Hub reports the outgoing server settings test good. I’ve changed my AOL email password, and have an AOL application password ready to use, but never get asked. I’ve turned off two-step verification in AOL, but same Thunderbird behavior. I’ve got multiple computers, and this issue is the same on all. I’ve had no problem adding a Gmail and SBCGlobal.net account. Thunderbird is 144.0.1 (64-bit) release. Windows 11 Home, version 25H2. I really don't want to give up Thunderbird, but I need this account badly.

Most of them are folders I access quite often; they now appear AFTER what used to be the last folder ("Zoom").
If this is a "feature," I suggest moving the highest activity folders to the FRONT of the inbox rather than to the BACK.

I found a link describing some settings, but want to confirm this will disable ALL AI in the browser. I don't want it, don't trust the privacy/security holes yet to be found and would prefer it was not included in Firefox to begin with. The list I've found is:

Why not leave Firefox as a security/privacy conscious browser and put out a separate AI browser (FirefoxML?) for those that are not as concerned. How does Mozilla ensure that no information is leaked through AI from sessions for professionals that must protect physician/patient, attorney/client information or other legally confidential information?

Since a month or so, Firefox browser freezes when playing youtube videos. Simply closing the app and restarting won't do the trick, I am forced to open the WIN Task Manager and manually "end task" before I can watch youtube videos again ... until an hour later, or lucky a day later, the same drama unfolds. I run the newest version of each, Firefox and Windows 11. No new extensions or plugins have been added recently. What is to do here? I have no problem receiving e-mails via Yahoo.
I have another account set up under Thunderbird with a different e-mail provider and that works fine for both sending and receiving. I have tried various things but am at a loss as to what the problem is.
