Greetings!

I am using the firefox enterprise version and I have noticed an issue that the browser does not capture mouse events when the pointer is at rightmost edge of the firefox window. For example, on this website near the edge the pointer would initially focus on the scroll bar and then lose focus at the edge (see attached images).

This issue does not persist on x11, and only seems to exist on wayland. It also exists on other flavours of firefox on wayland.

how can i disable firefox usage hints like "Try tab groups for less clutter, more focus"?. It opens up if i open up a certain amount of tabs. Is there anything i can disable in about:config?

I host a website, and don't want browsers (particularly Firefox) offering modified versions to others. Is there a header or something I can set webserver-side to disallow Firefox from offering the option?

In multi-window browser sessions on Linux, the "Recently closed tabs" menu shows a list of URLs relevant to the parent (aka current) window, and that is both perfectly logical and highly useful. It makes it a lot easier to find that specific URL you're looking for, if not only because it increases the chance that it hasn't yet been flushed out of the recently-closed list.

I have a very distinct memory that this was the case on Mac too for the URLs showed by this menu when accessed via the "hamburger menu". I'm positive that I accessed the function via the hamburger menu rather than the faster way via the menubar for that very reason. And I just realised that it's no longer possible starting with at least v143.

With the Mac's global menu bar it would stand to reason that it presents lists that are "global" to the session, but I see no good *usability* reason that would justify *not* using window-specific lists under the hamburger menu.

One could of course argue that it's confusing and a "burden" to the user that s/he would need to remember in which window the looked-for tab once lived. But that argument would apply to all platforms, and this is supposed to be about *recently* closed tabs and one has to assume that the majority of users have no issue remembering in which window they have (or had!) a given tab open. (And that otherwise they'd be using a singe window, probably maximised to occupy the entire screen ;) ).

The offline package download speed is too slow and sometimes fails. I hope it can be provided separately, like interface language packs, just as Debian has separate interface language packs.

After upgrading my 128 esr to 140 esr, some sites stopped opening. In regular versions, it has not opened for a long time. There are many such sites, for example, qwen3.app or temp-mail.io. It thinks for a long time and finally a message that the time has expired. Chromium is ok.

When I try to search something the error "Secure connection failed" appears. It works for the first few searches after installation but then the error message appears.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but the same thing happens.

I use android android device.

This one is puzzling to me: On a website with login, whenever I click on an link to a pdf, a new tab opens (my normal setting) and immediately crashes (not my normal setting ;)). However, everything is fine elsewhere on the web, even on the same site in the sections without login. Here are some observations that may or may not be connected to this:

• If I right-click and open in new tab/window/download, everything is fine
• When I return to the tab where I clicked the link, the page reloads - independent of whether I did anything in the crashed tab
• the site-admins were not able to reproduce the problem, also it seems fine for other users
• the problem persists in troubleshooting mode, also manually disabeling extension did nothing, emptying cache etc. also nothing.

It is not like this is making me switch browsers (although no crashes in edge), but it bothers me to have no idea why this is happening. :) Maybe someone here feels the same? Thank you for reading either way!

After recent macOS updates, it appears that Firefox would get stuck when trying to access passkeys stored in macOS's passwords or keychain apps. I run into this issue with both the following two combinations of Firefox versions and macOS

144.0.2 on macOS 26.0 Tahoe

140.4.0esr (aarch64) on macOS 15.7 Sequoia

Any insight is appreciated!

I went to Wirercutter from the NY Times, tried to search and got the result "HTTP header is larger than 10240 bytes." I performed the same action with Chrome on the same machine with no problems. I am on Firefox 140.4.0.esr running on a Slackware64/15 machine.

I was able to use it this morning from my macbook. But the afternoon I was on sites where my passwords usually fill but now everything is empty, everything had been deleted. I tried to log out and back in to mozilla and sync, but everything is gone. Over 100 sites and passwords. How this happened ? Where can i ask for help since Mozilla doesn't offer any.

I recently ported from chrome to firefox about 3 days ago and was tryin to access the dropdown menus on this website https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/governments/government-id/bc-services-card/your-card/get-a-card

I realized it wasn't working so I turned off my adblocker (ublock origin), refreshed the site and still not working.

Also attempted to use troubleshoot mode and still does not work.

Cleared cache + cookies and used troubleshoot mode and nothing working still.

I lastly checked the website was working by opening the same link on chrome after all that and it works perfectly fine over there. Any ideas what could possibly be the issue?? I basically have a fresh install of firefox with no changed settings besides anything that might of been copied over from Chrome when firefox automatically asks you to migrate your stuff over, and used the troubleshoot mode + clearing cookies and cache

Power outage after using a new Imac for 2 weeks. Now no bookmarks and no History showing in Firefox. I followed all the steps given in SUPPORT 1. Export HTML bookmarks from old computer. Import on new computer. 2. Load Backup bookmarks (JSON file) to flash drive. Load into new computer. 3. Copy latest Bookmarksbackup file found in new computer to Desktop.

'Each of these methods hit the same brick wall'. Firefox Menu > Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks > Library Screen and choose "Restore" or "Import Bookmarks from HTML" THE SCREEN IS BLANK WITH NO CHOICES TO PROCEED FURTHER.

Why don't any of these recovery methods work?

I have 2 machines (Win10 and Win11) with FF 140.3.1esr (32-bit) installed which demonstrates the same failure when I enter one site's url:

PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

Chrome at the same machines goes at this url w/o any failures. Any ideas what to change on "about:config" in FF to allow it opening this url w/o such error?
