I recently lost my connection to my ISP and have re-established my connection, but Thunderbird can receive mail but cannot send it. I can send from the ISP mailbox. For some reason Thunderbird will not connect to my ISP’s outgoing mail server. Any ideas will be appreciated.

I was using MS outlook and recently I could not connect. Apparently ATT made a change so that instead of a password you need a Secure email Key. Since I needed to make a change I thought I'd try Thunderbird mail, but I still need the KEY. After a number of efforts with the ATT AI and human support people I could not find where the Key is entered on ATT. Now I know this forum is about Thunderbird and not ATT, but there must be Thunderbird users that have ATT and have made a seccussful connection. There are a few ATT help pages that outline how to do this, but each time I look at my ATT profile I can not find where to enter the Secure Mail Key. Is there anyone that can help me with this? Mozilla Firefox. I had to upgrade on my Wi-Fi box to connect to my TV and it says that my browser is not communicating with the Wi-Fi box and I needed to communicate in order to activate the TV. The box is fine if someone could please tell me how or show me how to enable the browser in Mozilla Firefox so I can do this I would really appreciate it. It's been 3 days and I've been trying to get this to work but it's not working and it's also a 50-in Roku TV but roku's website is out and I can't get an activation code from them so I don't know what to do. But I would like for this problem to be solved

Since updating to v144.0.1 (distributed via Google Play) on OnePlus 5 with stock Android 10 (OxygenOS 10.0.1) Firefox initially performs as expected, but after a few days displays the 'connection has timed out' message when trying to access any URL (after a delay of around 45 seconds).

Issue occurs regardless of device connection to WiFi / cellular, other apps on the device have no issues with connectivity in both cases. PCAPDroid captures show DNS requests to the Android system resolver 10.215.173.2 with responses as expected, but no HTTP/HTTPS connections.

The issue persists across force stop, device restart, and clearing but is resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling until it recurs a few hours later. Issue also observed with beta build 145.0b7, but not yet seen using either Fennec 144.0.0 (Build #1440020) GV: 144.0-20251022155017 or with Nightly 146.0a1 (Build #2016122871), 6488d90a06c0b99c9f7000b8c0763c4f44253912, GV: 146.0a1-20251028041839

Currently whenever I try to pay for something via PayPal on mobile Firefox, it opens an about:blank page and never redirects. I am able to pay using PayPal just find when accessing via a PC. Unsure if there’s anything going wrong my end or if this is an issue Firefox mobile currently has. Having this issue on IOS on version 144.1

I literally cannot access any website at all. It was working just fine and dandy and suddenly, boom. It just stops working. I dunno if this is something that has been a problem for anyone else, but I do not want to switch back to chrome as it eats up my memory like a starving cow.

Hi All, I have been sending emails through Android Thunderbird, but they aren't being synced to the server, so I can't see them anywhere else. I've set the Sent folder to sync (as well as the Inbox). Pressing the sync button just spins the indicator, but doesn't actually sync. When I try to move or copy messages, an error comes up saying that messages can't be copied or moved that aren't synconised. How can all my messages (sent, inbox, everything) be synced so that I can see them everywhere? I've just turned on sync debugging, will see the results soon.

I have tried many times to get Thunderbird to connect to my Gmail account. Whatever I do, it always ends by saying "Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password. I have followed all the instructions I can find. The Thunderbird release is 140.4.0esr (64-bit) Running Windows 10.

I have set up an "app password" in Google. Config in Tbird set to IMAP.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

Hi, Long time Thunderbird user here. I've not experienced this issue before. I am having trouble configuring Thunderbird to correctly setup a new Outlook account. I get an error message "The current command did not succeed. The mail server for patsycrowly@outlook.com responded: User is authenticated but..." The rest of the error is cut off by Windows notifications. Not helpful. I'm still using Windows 10 (choice would be a fine thing) on a PC. I've spent hours trying all the suggestions re setup online both Mozilla and MS Outlook, I'm sure you know how numerous they are. I understand that imap and using oauth are the way to go, so have avoided POP. I have allowed cookies, I have tried among other suggestions the most recent: - https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1513917 and WavidDilly's response and solution 6/16/25, 2:20 AM. I have definitely checked that Thunderbird is enabled in Outlook and that both IMAP and POP are enabled. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the account (ensuring that relevant passwords were removed first (in case!)) an removed the data files before reinstallation etc. I am dreading that I may have to do the same with T'bird itself. BTW I am definitely using the latest version 144.0.1 (64-bit). I am a reasonably competent adult but sometimes find that the more recent versions of T'bird are not as intuitive as they once were; so please will you be kind and make your response very clear with simple instructions. Firefox can’t connect to the internet. The wifi signal is strong, the adapter is working. Other apps on the PC can connect and work fine except the Edge browser also can’t connect. I think some sort of malware has gotten in via email.. I uninstalled Firefox but when I try to install the latest version, I get a “can’t install for some reason” message. I turned off the firewall completely. Didn’t help. I would appreciate any suggestions as to what to do next.

I looked up 1130 in spectrum’s website but I couldn't figure out what it was saying. I also called spectrum to see if they could help but they couldn't help and just referred me back to you guys.

please help. thank you robin ps - I had a terrible time with thunderbird trying to load a profile from another computer. This failed utterly and I had to have someone help me to reload thunderbird on this laptop. I've never had luck with sending emails ever since it was reloaded. To reload, I had to search for 'thunderbird' on my computer over and over again until there was no 'thunderbirds' to delete - that included several thunderbird downloads as well. I wiped my laptop clean of all thunderbirds and then it could finally be downloaded. But I didn't think to try to send a message when my tech guy was there so I didn’t catch that I couldn’t send them.
