Lost all of my bookmarks. Error message reads: "The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem." I have been a Firefox user for years and years. I am having to leave because I cannot resolve this new issue. Can you help?

It can take many closing clicks to get rid of this warning and comes back again after a short while. What should I do? Tried searching with Malwarebytes itself and found no problems. Web search the same.

When I open a new tab and enter any website name I cannot connect to any site and this has only just started The message I get reads cannot connect to server at gb.search.yahoo.com

I use Bitdefender as antivirus program. When I start up Firefox the antivirus program blocks the start up because it says Firefox is trying to access a program (sync.contextualadv.com) which does not have same authentification as the target. It gives me choice to accept this as an exception if I want. I don't understand the details but I don't want to allow this to proceed until I'm sure it is safe. I'm on an HP computer running Windows 11. I use firefox on another laptop running Windows 10 and have not had this problem.

Over the past 2 versions, I am having issues accessing a Linux Webmin (port 10000) site while using a VPN. I have no issue accessing this site when not over the VPN (on site) and I have no issue accessing the site while over VPN using another browser. Very strange issue.

All of a sudden when i sign in to Amazon I get this box: Windows Security: Please sign in to amazon .com: This request comes from Firefox.........: Never asked for it how do I turn it OFF?? I have no2FA in either Amazon or Firefox but all of a sudden i need to enter a Security Code.

Hello, Iam using Bitdefender Secure Pass as passwordmanager, but since one or two weeks I have problems with the functionality on the laptop. I just can't open it. It is popping up and closing down immediately. Autofill in is not working as well. This is only when I use firefox, in chrome it is working. And on my mobile it is also working in firefox. I deinstalled and reinstalled the add on in firefox already. Afterwards it worked for a short time, but now it is the same again. Does somebody have experience with Bitdefender and an idea what I could do? Thank you in advance. Sabine

Sinne yesterday night my Firefox don't work anymore. The online thing i can get is this : bp-fa8b47ab-4fb5-42de-ae52-3a3620250817 I think this the Failurecode. I tried everything, like clean the Cash, set the Proxy to non use, the clean up Option everything. I deinstall it and install it new, but the Problems still exist. The only Change is the Failurecode. The new one is : 6f317949-b419-45cc-a9ea-27e0052ee481 Any other Browser also didn't work, like Edge or Opera. The start but doesn't load any Seite. How do I check that Firefox has permission to access this page? Or, what else do I need to do to sign in to my account?

Pandora tries to start, but it bounces from artist to artist without playing. Never had this happen before. Pandora suggests there is an overzealous ad blocker at work. Can you help?
