Not sure if "browse" is the correct topic but here we go:

After a random crash (I don't remember the details, been a while) I've "refreshed" Firefox. Following that I started to have some problems with Google Meet. Haven't had any for years and suddenly when i open Google Meet (working from home and using Google Meet as an online meeting platform daily), everything becomes unresponsive. I can't change tab, cannot close Firefox from the close button, nothing. I open the Windows Task Manager and End Task manually to close the window so I can restart the browser. After restarting Firefox and launch Google Meet, it doesn't crash.

The other problem is when I try to watch something on Netflix, I hear the sound, see the subtitles but the video content is not present. It's just black screen with UI on it. Yes, I checked the DRM setting and no, other streaming services that I use don't have this problem. I can bypass this by launching Firefox in troubleshoot mode but I want to use my extensions. I even tried to enable them one-by-one to see if anyone causing problems but even when I disable all of my extensions like in the troubleshoot mode I'm still having the same problem.

I tried several solutions that I found on reddit etc. but nothing worked so far. I also re-installed Firefox and nothing changed.

Please help me before I lose my mind (:

I have a Brother DCP-L2550DW printer that is connected via a network cable. Any other browser, i.e. Edge or Chrome, seem to be able to connect and print just fine. Firefox fails to print and there is no information about why. I have checked Event Viewer, turned off all the extensions, tried the about:config to reset printer options. Every single suggestion I've found so far fails to fix it. I have a great deal invested in using Firefox (bookmarks, etc.) so I'd like to keep it as my default browser, but not being able to print is SO annoying. Any suggestions?

I don't recall clearing the history.

Also, starting a few days ago, if you type it into the search bar on the homepage, it will drop to the top. What is the cause of these issues? I'm using Windows 11.

Since I upgraded to you, I am having trouble accessing important and medical info. I would like you to put every thing the way it was before. Easy access. You erraced some of my passwords, I want them back. I spend hours trying to find my info. I am 80 yrs old and do not need this aggravation. Thank you Moira

I have Firefox installed on multiple devices and most/all of them don't keep sessions or browsing history

I noticed that these files are updated while browser is open and get deleted once browser is closed:

• sessionstore-backups/recovery.baklz4
• sessionstore-backups/recovery.jsonlz4

No other files are related to sessions

I have "Open previous windows and tabs" checked

Installations:

• Windows 10
• Debian 12
• Debian 13 (Firefox 148.0 Snap)

On Firefox for Android, this issue doesn't happen, I can even see the whole browsing history including history lost on PC installations

Previously I could login to www.lowes.com with no problems. For the last several weeks I have not been able to login on Firefox, but I am able to login on Chrome. I have deleted the cookies and history tied to lowes.

When I try to search on www.lowes.com I get the following message, but again I am able to search on Chrome

How do I get rid of it? I have closed it but it returns the next time I try to enter firefox

I am using Debian Trixie with firefox 148 and I reported that the refresh option was missing from Firefox, https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1569549. I then noticed another workstation with the same version of FF that did not have the "refresh firefox" option.

It appears firefox has been changed. Some of the items have been changed including the profiles option to add color on creation.

How can the parameters of FF be changed ? See enclosed menu under help, "more trouble shooting information", you will see "refresh firefox" is missing from the top right.

opened firefox saturday and screen was totally different than what i had. guess it updated, but not returned to my profile. have tried to open my profile and succeeded, but can't get it to come on automatically when i open firefox again. how do i open the profile i want and then keep it opened?
