Hi. I use to could type a search and it would give me details without directing me to Bing or Google. It doesn't give me an option to go to bing. I type and then it takes me to bing and then I have to type out my search again. Bing doesn't come as an option as a url it has to be manually added. It use to and then i thought it was weird it was removed. Secondly, I tried to delete the Google search because I hate Google but it won't let me delete the url. I think someone has manipulated my app. I need help

The browser always refreshes the website page by itself, opening the page and switching the browser to the backend or foreground but resting the screen for a while will force the page to refresh, and data that has been entered but not submitted is lost.

At first I thought it was a wrong setting or a problem with the extension. After I reinstalled it, it still occurs, and it happens with all versions (nightly version, iceraven and waterfox as well).

Looking into the information I thought it was the WebSocket live link that would automatically disconnect to save power, and network fluctuations as well. Disconnecting switches to the connection prompt screen, which looks like a refresh. Maybe my guess is wrong.

I currently mitigated this by modifying the "media.aboutwebrtc.auto_refresh.peerconnection_section" function to false to alleviate this, but it still forces the page to refresh.

This is a rather interesting observation I've recently made, but it appears that with every new software update on my Firefox Developer Edition browser, that I inexplicably (and mysteriously) get signed off/logged off of all my already logged in websites, and while this isn't a major tech issue, per se... It is an annoying one and I would like some clarity on this.

Is there a feature that toggles this on and/or off? Or perhaps, this is a known bug? What is the bottom line on this?

I'm sorry if this question already exists or if a ticket has already been opened, but I can't find any information on the internet. I'm experiencing something strange. When I try to open the password manager, Firefox asks for my password to unlock access. The password is correct, but then Firefox keeps asking for it and there is no way to go back and I have to close the application.

Has anyone experienced this or know how to fix it?

Android 14. s22. All versions of Firefox. Anytime I click a input box to amend it or add a word to the end of it, hitting the space bar deletes the last word.

At first I thought it must be Gboard, but Gboard does NOT do this in Chrome or Brave. only FF. I also uninstalled Gboard and reinstalled it. Samsung Keyboard does not do this. It is specific to gboard within Firefox and I suspect it's Firefox triggering the glitch even though it only happens on gboard. Because it does not happen on Chrome. Only Gboard+Firefox.

I have a Huawei P30 Pro and beta Firefox browser. When I try to view my passwords on Firefox, it brings up a lock screen password prompt. This page requires my password, but the password is not recognized, even though it is correct. The lock screen password works in other situations but not in Firefox

As practically every other Firefox user, my bookmarks evolved into a lengthy file system that uses folders to segregate categories of bookmarks.

That is, it used to have this feature.

After the last update all or most of the bookmarks (I can't tell by scrolling down the long list) are devoid of their organizing folders. This puts a great deal of information beyond easy reach. In Mozilla Help topics one is advised to click on the library icon in the toolbar ... only there is no such icon on my copy of Developer's Edition.

Can someone suggest a method or methods to recover the folders?

Some passwords have been lost as well.

I have 'synced' my old phone. Now I have new phone with a Firefox that I used for setup, which has a few open tabs and maybe a couple b9kmarks. I want to 'restore' everything fromthe old Firefox to the new. What happens if I 'sync'?

My guess is 'sync'ing the new firefox merely backs up its current state...

I want to change my download directory on the mobile app, I've tried the solution of this post, but it doesn't seem to be working anymore, I can't find any other solution

For now I have only noticed this on reddit (didn't check any other sites), but when a video plays, even after I close the tab or when I close firefox and clear it from my recents and "active apps" sometimes the audio controller inside android doesn't close, force quitting firefox is the only way to make it go away

And the weird thing is that the player has no title no timeline no nothing, just has the firefox nightly icon just on the bottum left corner of where the artist cover would go
