Navigation bar in latest nightly (130.0a1) is split into two toolbars, this cannot be customized.

In about.config i set javascript.enabled false for most browsing, unless i really need to do otherwise (e.g. ecommerce). If i close the app (menu quit), and restart it, javacript.enabled is reset true. This behaviour is not replicated for other settings i may make, e.g. dom.storage.enabled, or permissions.default.image. Being Android i have no root so no possibility of creating a user.js to override Firefox ignoring my settings. This seems to be a bug. Version is Android Nightly version 121.0a1, 2023-11-05.

I can’t find the Auto-fill settings in FF on iOS. I found instructions here for where they should be and they are not there. Was this feature taken away recently. It’s VERY tedious not having this feature. Am I doing something wrong?

Hello! I noticed FireFox Android now reports my real OS version but FireFox Android has auto spoofed the useragent OS version from version 122? The install was via apk through Aurora app store if that makes any difference. I would like to fix this if its an error, if the spoof has been disabled then it will obviously remain. Hello: I’m running iOS 17.3.1 on iPhone. The problem I’m experiencing: I used to see the Recommended by Pocket articles on my iOS Firefox homepage, but they stopped appearing a few weeks ago. I’ve searched for a resolution, but all I can find are the steps for customizing/personalizing my HomePage: the problem is that although I’m signed into my Firefox/Mozilla account and have chosen Firefox as my Homepage for New Tabs, and I’ve signed out, restarted the app and changed my Firefox settings several times, the option: ‘Recommended by Pocket’ ( along with the actual articles appearing on the homepage) doesn’t even appear anymore: I’m at a loss as to locating that option, as well as, again, seeing the Recommended Articles as they appeared previously. Thanks so very much for any help !

DuckDuckGo is default browser on iOS ad iMac. I want to block any and all Amazon.com results from my searches. How do I do that? If an overall block is not possible, how to I customize a search or the results list to filter out Amazon.com?

On my Tablet, the Bookmarks have decided to split into two folders :Bookmarks and Other Bookmarks. Not what I want. Is there any way that I can get them to combine to just Bookmarks?

There are three problems, all related, that are frustrating me with Firefox on Android. I have a Samsung Galaxy 24+. I am trying to get Firefox to use a local HTML file that are my bookmarks, but I am stymied at every turn:

1) when I click on the local, Galaxy, HTML file, I get the standard "Open with" pop up, but they only list: Chrome, HTML View, Android's Internet browser, and Samsung Print Services. Why doesn't Firefox show up there? This is important to me. Is Firefox failing to register its browser properly in Galaxy products?

2) The next thing I try to do is to sync bookmarks so that I can use my hundreds of bookmarks (rather than adding them into Firefox one at a time). So, I click on the famous three vertical dots and there is no "Sync" function in that menu, see attached. So I cannot import my bookmarks from my PC's bookmarks.

3) Thirdly, I try to type into the URL field what Chrome uses to access local files, which is for example: "content://media/external/file/1000005061" but Firefox android does not recognize that. When I change it to "file://media/external/file/1000005061" that does not work either.

The Chromebook is slow anyway. I have searched the web and settings on the Chromebook and in apps. I cannot find any Startup controls or way of stopping several apps from loading. I use Linux elsewhere and am at least half savvy. it's hair pulling time...

Hello All, For some unknown reason, the browsers available on Play Store for Nvidia Shield are crap - so far I've not found any that allow me to easily sync bookmarks etc between Shield/PC/Mobile.

I therefore tested and found Opera and Vivaldi sideloaded to my Nvidia Shield TV Pro both worked perfectly.

I wanted to use test Firefox as I was about to use this as my main preferred PC/mobile browser, but first I wanted to check it all worked OK.

I was able to sideload and set up Firefox, but as soon as I open a webpage the Controller stopped working.

How can this be fixed please?

Please don't suggest a browser that's intended for AndroidTV on the Shield Play Store - they are all crap due to the reasons I mentioned, the controller with Right Joysick acting as mouse pounter works perfectly on Opera and Vivaldi, so I don't understand why this it doesn't work on Firefox.

I hope this can be fixed/resolved as I would like to use Firefox as an alternative.

None of the online instructions work. None. Why must it be impossible or so inhumanly difficult to simply disable the annoying and privacy-violating “Firefox suggestions” in the Firefox address bar on the iOS? When will you finally realize and accept that people should be able to use Firefox in social situations without having everyone around see one’s search history? Is this really difficult to understand? It seems that the knuckleheads at Mozilla product development lack even the most basic understanding of the concept of privacy. And yet Mozilla advertises its product with empty promises of privacy.
