I don't know if this is the proper topic, but I'm not sure what to call it. For the longest time I've had an issue with the settings being reset every time I open the browser - all my add-ons are off, all my configurations return to the original state, every single time. I have to manually turn them on all over again every time. Does anybody else has the same issue? Can it be solved somehow? Do I need to redownload Firefox or something?

How can I get all Firefox settings as a simple table? I am sure that is how they are kept by the program, somewhere outside the Firefox UI. Are they kept in the System Registry? It would sure make troubleshooting & continuity easier when moving to new devices/CPUs.

I initially used the K-9 email client and switched to Thunderbird sometime last year. For almost a year now, I haven't received any notifications from Thunderbird when new emails arrive, which I believe worked initially.

Then new emails weren't displayed at all; I had to manually refresh my inboxes and folders. A recent update seems to have fixed at least this issue, as new emails are now available when I open my inboxes. However, I still don't receive any notifications.

I have also checked the notifications settings and the permissions, it is always mentioned that the "Alarms and reminders" permission is required, but I don't have this permission. Reinstall the app and reconfigure from the Windows Thunderbird didn't helped as well.

Specs: Phone is a OnePlus 8 Pro OxigenOS 13.1 Android 13

Any help is very welcome; I don't want to reset the device hoping it will work, only to find out that it didn't help.

1) Thunderbird 128.12.0es refuses to disable conversation mode, when View/Sort by/Unthreaded is selected for a folder.

2) Thunderbird 128.12.0es does not show the number of selected messages in the Status Bar when I select multiple messages, instead showing the number of selected conversations.

How can I disable conversation mode?

I don't like threaded conversations view. I turned it off so my inbox doesn't show it any more, but search results do and I find it impossible to find what I need. Is it possible to turn off ALL of those threading features across the entire program? Thanks

How can I configure questions so that responses might be useful? I am specifically looking for time choices e.g. current, last six months, this year, etc.

It is November 2025. Answers for 2015 are of no use with all the changes and updates since in the past ten years.

One day my beloved T.Bird got wacked. I have 4 accounts. Only one was visible and all under folders incl spam and trash was gone. I found the other 4 accounts under "accounts". But that did not help me. I could not get them up and work. So I do hope you can help me to restore the bird to work on condition.

Just wondering why our forum posts can't also be black on black, or white on white, etc? Seems like the forum is stuck in the past, still doing the old black on white, as if anyone cares about being able to see the text.
