I have a Huawei P30 Pro and beta Firefox browser. When I try to view my passwords on Firefox, it brings up a lock screen password prompt. This page requires my password, but the password is not recognized, even though it is correct. The lock screen password works in other situations but not in Firefox

Dear Mozilla Geeks—

As practically every other Firefox user, my bookmarks evolved into a lengthy file system that uses folders to segregate categories of bookmarks.

That is, it used to have this feature.

After the last update all or most of the bookmarks (I can't tell by scrolling down the long list) are devoid of their organizing folders. This puts a great deal of information beyond easy reach. In Mozilla Help topics one is advised to click on the library icon in the toolbar ... only there is no such icon on my copy of Developer's Edition.

Can someone suggest a method or methods to recover the folders?

Some passwords have been lost as well.

I have 'synced' my old phone. Now I have new phone with a Firefox that I used for setup, which has a few open tabs and maybe a couple b9kmarks. I want to 'restore' everything fromthe old Firefox to the new. What happens if I 'sync'?

My guess is 'sync'ing the new firefox merely backs up its current state...

I want to change my download directory on the mobile app, I've tried the solution of this post, but it doesn't seem to be working anymore, I can't find any other solution

For now I have only noticed this on reddit (didn't check any other sites), but when a video plays, even after I close the tab or when I close firefox and clear it from my recents and "active apps" sometimes the audio controller inside android doesn't close, force quitting firefox is the only way to make it go away

And the weird thing is that the player has no title no timeline no nothing, just has the firefox nightly icon just on the bottum left corner of where the artist cover would go

Device is a OnePlus 12 on android 15

I use firefox beta and noticed that firefox always closes exactly when a new hour hits. The moment it hits say exactly 4:00, 5:00, 6:00, or so on for every hour of the day, the app crashes. I also tried this on the standard firefox and the same thing happens. I even decided to alter my device time in settings and set the time to 11.59 only to have the app crash the moment it turns 12. This is the same for any other time of day I set. I tried changing battery optimization and storage restrictions/optimization and nothing seems to work.

I’m running into a frustrating issue with Firefox. Whenever I paste a large amount of text (especially code) in one go, Firefox freezes and becomes unresponsive. This happens frequently in various web apps like ChatGPT and Make.com.

It’s not a one-time thing—it happens consistently when pasting large blocks of text. Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a known issue, or is there a way to fix it? Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!

Hey Guys, you do a great Job with your develpment of ff, tb and all the other stuff. Have eben using f now for two decades BUT everything ported to Android sucks. "Features" i easily can disable in Desktop Version either one Unix or win x86_am64 or addons. This ist the exact oposite!!! I do Not need any Security or invalid Adresse warning or Blocks, Just give me the ability to do the Same as in Desktop... About:config or Just Go directly to the Adresse i Put ineither IP Adresse or without HTTPS. Just give me a APK or a download Link to geht IT in my own, without all the useless bs. Thank you so much!!!
