I have a Windows 7 desktop with Firefox 115.35.0esr (64-bit) which was just updated today. I also have a Windows 11 laptop with Firefox 150.0 (64-bit). Now all of a sudden all of my bookmarks have been combined. The ones that were on the laptop are now on my desktop and vice versa. I started deleting the ones on the desktop that were from the laptop and they started to be automatically deleted from my laptop. How do I stop this from happening.

I am on Firefox 150 and their is no Icon for the VPN. I even restarted in the safe mode and still no VPN. I did not have VPN in Firefox 149 but I decided to wait for Firefox 150 to report this.

When I try to Login or Change Password there is no OTP Emails received from Mozilla contact emails.

I tried multiple way but still nothing received.

thanks for making me waste 20 mins trying to figure out to find the VNP setup, and thinking i must be blind or just very stupid, until i realize maybe not my country, and google and find it is not.

My outgoing server settings are correct, but I have not been able to send any messages since getting Thunderbird set up. I get a message that says:

Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) mail.chartermi.net failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again.

When I was setting everything up, the online bot "chat" instructions I was getting suggested that because my email account is so old (chartermi.net instead of charter.net), it may be causing some problems. However, I have not been able to find anything to address this, and that "chat bot" string has disappeared, so I cannot find it now.

In "manage profiles" I see where to delete the extra profile that was created and I don't want. Thanks to Cetaseus1. my question is does deleting a profile delete all the bookmarks? there is an info box that warns that bookmarks will be deleted including my 30,000+ bookmarks that were rolled over to this unwanted profile that just appeared. My intent is to have one remaining profile and all my bookmarks. I am hesitant to delete a profile and loose all those bookmarks. I won't delete until Mozilla assures me that I won't lose the bookmarks in the other profile. Thanks.

I was just notified that my email provider is ending service after 30 years. I need to move all my folders and messages from my old Provalue account to a new Gmail account. Is there an easy way to do this? Can I just change the account name and password as well as the server settings? They are both Pop3 accounts. I also need to point 131 message filters to the new Gmail account. Is there a way to do this without having to rewrite all of the filters? Do I need to copy all of the folders and messages to the new account manually? I have 30 years of emails that I still refer back to occasionally. I need help, what do I do? Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

In a newsgroup I have a message containing the word 'werewolf' in its body. If I do a control-K search for 'werewolf' I see 'No messages match your search'. In the left of the display I also see 'Filters From Me (0) To Me (0). I don't know what this means and I don't know why the search couldn't find a message containing 'werewolf'. If I do a control-shift-K search and select the 'Body' button I see 'No message found'. The control-shift-F search will not look in message bodies. Why can't I find the message that contains the word 'werewolf'? What am I missing? Alan.

FireFox browser closed and when I opened it all my bookmarks are gone, all of my history is gone everything is gone as though I never ever used firefox in my life.

I want to get a list of email senders to an email account in Thunderbird as it is going to be closed and I want to notify those who still use it. Is there a way to do this?

This is a POP account and the emails are only available in Thunderbird.

With the latest update, this very annoying THREADS appeared, and I cannot go back to the original format for individual emails in their correct chronological order. I do not like this format, and if I can't go back to the original, then I will be finding an alternative email program - that is how annoying this change has been to me.

All of a sudden my comcast.net email is no longer accessible through Thunderbird,it claims I'm not using the correct password, even though none of the settings have changed. I can still access my email through webmail, using the same password. What's happened? and how can it be corrected thank you

So far hate new Firefox that I have been forced to switch to - very annoying and such a waste of my time trying to sort out my bookmarks. May make me switch to Edge or something.

Followed the instructions - C:\Users\name\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ - found a backup but no information as to how to get the bookmarks into the new Firefox?????

Many of us are older users and perhaps not so savvy as to how to do this.

And so it would have been nice if Firefox could have been more "nice and be specific" with this forced change over.

Using Facebook thru Firefox. On each article, dates under sender are just a long string of numbers and letters. I tested it under Edge and it is working as it should. Example: from/title - Walmart Finds Date - dsroeptnSouauuf15fec412m0501u7aa1pu5m0hndu6g1fog1lsiircgoSf5 ·

How do I get just a regular date or time as I was getting until this afternoon.

All emails in my trash folder disappeared. I do not know if this is due to something I did, or some other reason. Is there any way to restore the deleted emails?

For the last 2-3 day I have been experiencing a box that asks for my signature each time I go to a new website. I can't move the box. I can't screenshot it. Does anyone know how I can get rid of it?

I am attempting to locate the "manage containers" option on the container drop down menu but it is not there. I have read several other threads and have tried cntrl+ about:config "which did not have a false option" clicking right, and then maybe left and every which way I could click, but nothing. The drop down menu does not move so as to reposition and possibly find what I can't find. I do have my scaling pretty high, I wonder if that could be the problem. Any help would be appreciated, you know how we like to change these kinds of options.
