Everything was working fine on Firefox up until a couple weeks ago when my searches started lagging.

What happens is - if I type a search into the main URL/search bar on the browser, it loads just fine. But if I type a 2nd search into a website search bar, such as on google.com, there is about a 12 second delay between me hitting enter and the page actually starting to load. The page freezes during this time and is unable to be interacted with. This issue does not happen in any other browsers outside of Firefox.

Things I've tried so far: Troubleshoot mode/safe mode, clearing cookies and cache, uninstalling and re-installing Firefox

Nothing has helped... wondering if this was caused by an update?

Two days ago my Firefox download box started showing AppFile_qqasdc.exe as containing a virus.

I delete it. it returns whenever i restart Firefox.

I cannot find the file on my hard drive, in the registry or anywhere on my system.

HELP!

I Closed the browser and forgot that I had a private one open too. When I went to open the main Firefox window up, my previous session was wiped! I already tried the right clicking plus sign method to no avail. It just brings up the one I had after searching how to bring back the session and then accidentally closed the browser after. Any tips on how to get it back? Why does this happen just because you have a private window open??? Change that ASAP!

i am unable to connect to state of california edd.ca .gov. once i am on the website and edd tries to send me an email it comes back with an error saying that they were unable to verify my email and to repeat the login process again

Firefox 117.0.1 (64 bit) Build 20230912013654 Windows 10 Home - Version 22H2 OS build 19045.3448 The link to download my Sears credit card statement in pdf form has disappeared when accessing the website (https://citiretailservices.citibankonline.com) with Firefox. It still appears and works normally when the website is accessed with Chrome. I have the uBlock Origin extension installed on Firefox, but it is disabled on the Sears website. Screencaps attached.

Since 117(Beta)I have an issue with Firefox refusing to apply the update it downloaded. I've tried searching left and right on the internet for a solution and one does work which is installing the newer version of the browser each time myself. But this is ofcourse not a solution in the long run.

It tries now to apply the update 118b9 to stable version 118 and it did downloaded just fine and asked me if I wanted to close the program to let it update which always worked. I've tried different DNS to see if that could be the problem, tried a clean default profile to see if that helped, I haven't tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, due to me losing my passwords and what not.

I also tried to run the stable version to see if the issue was still there and it is still there, so me using the beta channel isn't the issue here.

I want to make the bottom scroll bar specially to be appeared only on hover and not when scrolling or even make it 100% transparent? I really dont want the bottom scrollbar to interface

Firefox opens blank tabs when following link on existing logged in websites, for example Screwfix. Worked previously, suddenly stopped yesterday. Refreshed Firefox, no change. Re-installed Firefox, no change. Site works fine in Chrome and Edge, so not site error, internet error, PC error, or network error. Please help? Thanks, Mark

The right pane on google drive is not loading on firefox. It says "Couldn't load, Try again". Dev tools show the error "NS_ERROR_INTERCEPTION_FAILED".

If i clean the data and cookies for the website it starts working but not for long. Last time i did it i lasted like 5 minutes. Turning off all the extensions doesn't help.

I'm logged in on several google accounts, don't know if that matters.

Many websites I use on a regular basis have become unusable on firefox which i have used for over a decade. I can't change my Flickr cover photo because the pop up window is too huge, can't view a complete google doc because the thing is enormous, etc. The issue is that I MUST have the ability to set text in firefox to larger and I do so via the view - zoom in and zoom text only options. I have to have this ability because I have a visual disability. I do not have this issue using chrome but I detest chrome and want to keep using firefox, but entire portions of windows are cut off when they open up and I can't access them by zooming out either. The only thing that changes is the text gets so small that it is totally unreadable. This is a HUGE problem for me. I will NOT change my default windows setting to try and fix a firefox issue because that then screws up my window sizes for games, programs etc for my other software that I also use daily. So I won't be changing what works for 20 programs via windows settings to make ONE browser work better. This is a firefox problem, and firefox needs to fix it. I have tried multiple solutions cited online and nothing is working. If firefox is trying to get rid of it's users with visual disabilities, this is the way to go. Firefox 117.0.1 Windows 10.0.19045 Build 19045 Unable to download statements on Barclaycard site. Just spent ages with Barclaycard chat who continued to say Firefox does not support pdf even though I said I was downloading on many other sites no problems. On Barclaycard site I did a transaction search and downloaded the result as a pdf OK. pdf downloads open directly in Adobe reader. Trying to download a statement does nothing, no error, just nothing. Microsoft Edge works ok. Been using Firefox for years on this site no problem. A latest Firefox update problem?

Hello I do not know if anybody is aware of this minor issue but Firefox Screenshot Tool Cause a 1px Space at The Left Side of Image. When you take a screenshot of an image with firefox tool then edit it on photoshop like image editors you will see that a 1px empty space at the left of the image. Hi, Recently updated Firefox, and also migrated to a new machine. FF seems to be working fine on new machine, but absolutely unresponsive in loading on old machine, despite problem solving in safe mode, cache clearance, and refresh, as well as re-install.
