I have windows 10 pro version 1803 . Firefox is the only browser I use. Suddenly all my jpeg files changed from pictures to html text. How can I get my pictures back and stop this from now saving all jpeg files as html files?

I have been using keyword searches setup as bookmarks since Netscape 4 and IE 3. Something like "g" -> google.com/search?query=%s. For some reason, Firefox will sometimes correctly return a search for "test" when typing "g test" but will often return a search for "g test". This is a fairly recent issue with a function that previously worked since the inception of the browser. Why is Firefox misunderstanding the semantics of my keyword search and how do I workaround this bug?

I have Excel files stored in a Google shared folder. These are all macro enabled (.xlsm) files. When I attempt to download to my local drive using Firefox the file is changed from .xlsm to .xlsx resulting in all the VBA programs and functions inactive. This only happens with Firefox - current version is 84.0.2. Downloads using Chrome and Edge are OK.

Has anyone else experienced this and how can I fix this.

PS could at be that firefox on my new telephone (and synchronisation) is the culprit?

I am logging out every time google and twitter account whenever I restart the browser on windows. Though its privacy set to standard and history remember options are always on. Any solution?

Hello, Firefox keeps having unexpected crashes. Some extensions were active at the time of registration of this report. Later I also tried to disable all extensions, do a reset, but the abrupt crashes still occurred again. Can anyone help me?

I have a question, that's actually pretty simple:

Is there any information from Firefox Relay about, if an alias is re-assigned to another user after they have been deleted by the first user? Or is Relay making sure, that every alias is only used once if deleted. Otherwise you could try and to recover services and passwords from other's peoples services after they got deleted.

Why is it that Firefox changes the default application for viewing PDFs?

I have several machines with Firefox installed and I have one that constantly changes the default PDF viewer from Windows Default to Save - every single day. Very annoying.

I decided to install firefox nightly on my windows 10 pro / 64-bit edition laptop early this morning because I already have it installed on two different computers with the exact same operating system installed. On those computers when I pin a desired site they remain there until I decide to manually unpin them. That's not the case with my installation here on my laptop, after having pinned a site the proper way & then going to a different site and upon returning to the original new tab page where I had previously pinned a desired site it no longer appears...why ? After the google outage a week ago I can't get into any google site. I asked a friend that also uses firefox and they can access them just fine, I can enter normally with other browsers, too.

YouTube preview thumbnail images not showing in Firefox. This is a new problem that started roughly 12 hours ago. See attached screen shot. In Chrome everything is normal. See attachment.

The Firefox browser keeps closing my touch keyboard whenever I try to use it in the browser. Works just fine in any other application, not sure why Firefox is getting jumpy. The keyboard opens for a hot second before immediately closing, so it is recognizing it to some extent. Could I get some help? Thanks

I want EVERYTHING to open in a NEW TAB. I'm tired of doing a search and then the query page opens on the same page I am on. I HATE this. I want NEW tabs for every click, WITHOUT having to hit the CTRL key also. Anybody found an extension for this? Used to have Tab Mix Plus that was great. I'm getting fed up with the new Firefox...

I just installed the esr version of Firefox. I did not think that I would lose all my bookmarks, add-on, etc. Is there a way to revert back to the standard version with all my old data? Or in looking at the profiles I see a default profile, a default-esr profile, and a default-release profile. This latter profile seems to have my old data when I open the folders and look around. However, when I try to open that profile in new window it says something about opening an old version and losing data and creating a new profile. When I do that, I still get a fresh browser with none of my data.

The auto fill option does not fill in my Street Address.

provide tips/details on how to get the auto fill function to include filling in my Street Address.

I'm using FF 84.0.2 64 bit on an HP laptop with Win 10. Recently, the Other Bookmarks link has installed itself permanently on the right side of my Bookmarks Toolbar. I can't tell you how badly I want it off of there. It takes up space and knocks off another bookmark that I use daily into the >>overflow section. I never use Other Bookmarks and really want to take it off of my Bookmarks Toolbar--like it used to be. If you must keep it, then leave it under the Bookmarks section of the Menu Bar. Please change this. I love FireFox, but this isn't a good change for me.
