Every time a youtube video is placed on landscape mode on the firefox app of my android phone it becomes a single blurred image with the audio playing as normal.

Youtube seems to work fine on other browsers and I have tried all basic fixes, like deleting cache/data/reinstalling app etc. Appreciate any help.

Edit. Okay I managed to fix the issue so I'm adding the solution here in case anyone runs into this problem. Apparantly youtube playback decided to enable "ambient mode", a feature I didn't even know existed and seems to not play well with a phones resolution.

Just click the settings gear while the video is playing in landscape (mine is on the top right) and disable the "Ambient mode" feature.

I can't get any sites to load in my Firefox app since the update to 114.2. I have cleared my cache, forced a stop, and done everything else that's ever worked in the past short of uninstalling and reinstalling. It looks like 114.2 was supposed to fix this issue in older versions, but I'm still having issues.

I am using Tor on Android, I would like to know if this browser hides the websites I visit from the owner of the router and that if they want to track the sites I visit, will they only see that I have used tor and not see what sites I visited? Thank you for the help.

About 10 days ago, firefox stopped working on my android phone.
When I open the app, I can type something in the opening window but then it never loads the http address.

Do I need to delete the app and start again? will it delete any of my data?

Within the last couple days at least, firefox just does not load any sites on the phone. They simply show an empty page. Chrome will load the same site under the same network conditions.

Whenever I choose the Dark Theme for the app's user interface (Options > Customize > Theme: Dark), it also changes all the webpages I view making them dark as well, which I don't want, and didn't ask for.

How do I prevent this from happening while still maintaining the dark theme for the app itself?

Periodically, the following bug occurs on different phones. I also found it in complaints on google play and I will take the text from there (you do not give a solution to the problem), but I will provide my screenshots. This is not the first time this issue has occurred, on various phones in my family. "I tried using it again, and EVERY website I try to access doesn't load. It just shows a gray screen and the lock in the URL bar is in the "connection is not secure" graphic. I can't even access about :config because it's also just a gray screen.HOWEVER, every other browser on my phone works." It helps to solve problems only by completely deleting all firefox files and then setting it up from scratch. It is unpleasant. Can no longer log into xfinity.com from firefox. Can do this via chrome. what gives? Get connection failed notices.

I given feedback on firefox in google appstore and developer told me to further explanation what is happening. Firefox sometimes, becomes unresponsive for specific sites ... It starts loading them, but it get stuck in 1/4 of loading bar. It happens early morning most of the times which is unusual, right after I wake up. Site that it happens the most is 9gag.com. However, sometimes it happens to google search itself. What is funny when I use google search to access 9gag it fixes the problem, at least 33% of time, force stopping Firefox and cleaning cache helps additional 33% of time. Sometimes restart of phone is only thing that fixes the issue. My phone is xiaomy redminote5 with lineage 18.1 which is android 11. I use addons ublock and privacy bagger.
