When I sign in to Google groups, then select one of my groups, I get into an "infinite redirect loop." The page hangs, "Redirecting" appears in the page title, and at the bottom it says (alternating) "waiting for google.com" or "waiting for groups.google.com". I have Firefox 3.6.3, which I think is latest and greatest.

This problem has been reported to Google and you can see the discussion here: http://groups.google.com/group/is-something-broken/browse_thread/thread/8fb760742f6ce7ba/f7065d7bd3499f65#f7065d7bd3499f65

You go to the Google Groups help forum, look at "Is something broken" discussion, and look further for "Infinite Redirect Loop." This may be a problem that only affects moderators.

I'm not sure if this is a problem with Firefox, Google groups, or the interaction.

I have recently started having the redirection issue with Amazon. I click on a product link on the Amazon website and now I get the message that this page is not properly redirecting. I try Chrome and it works fine. I have cleared my cache, insured that cookies are accepted and I have searched for solutions. I did find several others reporting this problem, but none of their solutions worked for me. The odd thing is that some links on Amazon still work properly. But others don't. Here is a link that is not working for me: https://www.amazon.com/ChickenFuel-OMRI-Listed-Organic-Compost-Fertilizer/dp/B0102PAT9O?ie=UTF8&fpl=fresh&redirect=true&ref_=s9_cartx_gw_g86_i3_r

Here is another link that works fine: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VOLHKHA/ref=br_asw_pdt-2?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=desktop-4&pf_rd_r=57NDHMP0ADH9BCSMAPX8&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=4ccd27f1-4604-40d9-92c7-3318b57f8ba8&pf_rd_i=desktop

And, as I wrote above, all these links work in other browsers, i.e. Chrome. But I hate switching to Chrome so I can use Amazon. As far as I can tell, Amazon is the only website that has this issue. I browse a lot, so that seems strange to me.

I just upgraded from FireFox 12 to FireFox 13 Beta, and it seems to have solved the problems I was having with slow loading web pages in FF12. However, I find that I can't log in to my Google Calendar with FF13 Beta, although I can with other browsers - I.E., Opera, Chrome.

Any suggestions?

Turned on Firefox this afternoon to find all text rendering about 30% too big. Icons in tabs and on bookmark bar are too big, as well. If I press Ctrl+- twice, then it looks normal, but Ctrl+0 sets everything to abnormally large again. Gmail in particular looks wrong no matter what I set the zoom to, as if the UI is too big but the text is too small.

I have no idea what's going on. Restarting Firefox multiple times didn't help. Disabling every addon and plugin didn't help.

For some reason, starting about 10 days ago, I can no longer paste links into Facebook comment fields. I can paste text; but when I copy a link and try and paste it, nothing happens; it's as though I never copied the link.

I've followed the suggestions in this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1006323#answer-660703

1 - reloaded from the server 2 - cleared cookies 3 - disabled all extensions and restarted in safe mode

Nothing has helped.

I *can*, however, paste when I'm using Chrome, so it's almost certainly a Firefox issue (as compared to a Facebook problem).

Any suggestions/fixes will be most appreciated!

Hi everyone... the issue I have is pretty much this:

I open a website, or some websites, and one of them keeps loading forever and it makes the other sites also loading forever. So, Firefox stops working as if there was no response from the servers...

If I open a new tab, it goes to the same and loads forever, but never gets to actually load any content at all...

The only way to fix this is by closing the window, and starting all again...

There is no particularly site, sometimes happens with Hotmail, Emol.com (chilean newspaper site), a forum, or just any site...

I have this issue since Firefox 6, but it was a lot less recurrent, I was able to use almost normally... it the problem comes, just restart the browser... the same solution...

Also, I'm pretty sure is NOT a net issue, since I don't have any problem at all with Internet Exlorer, or any other software.

I usually use FF in Private Browsing, but this problem occurs in both normal and private mode.

What I think it could be? I noticed EVERY page that makes the issue come up, has flash content... maybe Flash Player is the guilty, or the Plugin-Container handling it...

Things I have tried:

  • Re-installing the browser as admin
  • Clearing Recent History (Everything)

I guess that's all, any question or suggestion, please post it, I'll be checking this thread as often as I can.

Thanks for your attention, even if you just readed this.

PS: Sorry for my english, I speak spanish...

After upgrading from Firefox 11 to 12 I'm having serious problems with Firefox over-caching pages.

For example if you: Go to a URL where you can enter comments. If after comments are entered you are sent back to the same URL Firefox is showing the old page (without your new comments). You have to do a refresh to see the new page (with the new comment)

Even if the page has PHP headers: header('Cache-Control: no-cache, no-store, must-revalidate'); header('Pragma: no-cache'); header('Expires: 0');

Firefox ignores this too.

I'm having problems with just some websites. They begin to load normally but never complete. So I can often see all or part of the page, but can't interact - e.g. I can get into an e-mail program (e.g. Yahoo) and maybe open an e-mail, but I'm unable to reply to it. Or only part of the page loads and then hangs. Or sometimes none of the page loads it just hangs for a half hour showing a white screen. Other sites load fully and normally.

This has happened with Yahoo Mail, Ebay, Hotmail and some other sites.

Since about a week ago firefox in my laptop cannot play videos from youtube (only from youtube, videos from other sites and flash games work fine), both on the site or embedded on other site. It just shows "an error occured. Please try again later" I'm using firefox 13.0.1 and the latest flash plugin. My laptop is i5 with win7 64 bit and it's clean, no virus or malware.

I've tried all the solution posted here but nothing works. I've tried uninstall-reinstall both firefox and flash, disabled add-ons, safe mode, downgrade to earlier flash, uninstall realplayer, changed dns, reconfigured my modem, called my good-for-nothing ISP (perhaps connection related?), still cannot play videos from youtube.

I've tried using different computer, I used my old winxp pc with older version of firefox (with same configuration as the firefox I'm using in my laptop) and my ipad, they can play videos but the playback is stuttering which never happened before. Strangely enough, I tried chrome (on the same laptop) and it works well, no stutters. Does this problem has something to do with firefox updates, flash updates, both, or something else?

Please help me, I don't want to go back and forth between browsers just to see video in youtube and I really don't want to change browser. Thanks!
