I am reporting a performance issue specifically related to Google Search's AI features (AI Overviews) in Firefox 149.0.2 on macOS.
The Issue: When an AI-generated summary appears in Google Search results, GPU usage spikes significantly, reaching up to 212%. This causes the laptop to overheat and triggers high fan speeds.
Critical Comparison:
Firefox 149.0.2: Extreme GPU load and performance degradation when rendering Google AI elements.
Google Chrome 147.0.7727.56: Works perfectly with normal GPU usage under the same conditions.
Tested on two different MacBooks: MacBook Pro (A1502), 16GB RAM, i7 (2015) — OS: macOS Monterey. MacBook Pro (MMQX3), 64GB RAM, M1 Max (2021) — OS: macOS Sequoia (15.x/Tahoe).

I read magazines using PressReader on Firefox but during this the window keeps getting refreshed. When this happens I end up back at the beginning of the magazine instead of on the page I'm reading. It's becoming almost impossible to read the entire magazine.
What I can't work out is what is doing this? Is there a Firefox setting that I need to change?
There seems to be no settings in PressReader.
I'm running Firefox on Win 11 Pro if that is relevant.

In Zendesk, there is an option "Print ticket" which should open Print dialog and we then can print whole email to PDF. This worked for years, but as of recently that dialog simply does not show. I tried change Firefox settings for printing, but problem remains. Attached is a screenshot how it looks in chrome, and how it used to work in firefox.
As from yesterday, April 17, Firefox will not load correctly https://m365.cloud.microsoft page. It loads, but no element reacts when clicked. I cleared cache, cookies, removed extensions, refreshed firefox, but to no avail.

Despite being a loyal user since 2004, the current performance gap compared to Chromium browsers is making daily tasks impossible. Core Technical Problems: Layout Corruption: Even in Desktop Mode, the UI breaks, elements overlap, and CSS grids do not render properly. High Input Lag: Massive delays in JavaScript execution, causing the browser to become unresponsive during site interaction. Engine-Level Issues: The problem persists on both Android (latest stable) and Linux (Zorin OS/Linux Mint), suggesting a fundamental issue with the Gecko engine's handling of heavy AI frameworks. Troubleshooting Done: Tested with Enhanced Tracking Protection both ON (Standard) and OFF. Cleared all site data and cache. I have a game I play every day (from FaceBook) just this week when I try to go to it on my laptop - it says your browser does not support WebGL. it has always opened using Firefox - this is a new error message. and the computer is only 5 months old and has Windows 11 on it. I do not want to switch to Google or Edge.
Like I said - opening the app worked every day up until about a week ago. What gives?

Do it again, and it won't move from that position. I have been asking this for a while. Seems like a minor bug, but it's PRETTY annoying for those of us who have the use of the mouse wheel as a second nature. So please, PLEASE, PLEASE , fix the bug!

gmail no longer works in firefox. Nightly has been giving me a message about clearing cache and cookies for many many many months. After I do that, nothing changes and I still end up in a website about clearing cache and cookies.
Firefox ESR is not able to delete gmail emails after I check the delete box. It says they are deleted but the don't ever go away.
I cannot find any version of firefox that works with gmail. Please let me know if you have found one and provide a link for me to download that version.

There have been a reoccurring problem with Firefox that seems to show up in Linux, Windows, and MacOS. When I log into icloud, I get an error message that the icloud username and password is incorrect, even though the same password has been enter in Safari and other non-firefox browser without issue.

The only fix seems to be to create a new profile, which seems to point to a profile corruption issue. The problem is that the problem return after a while.
