Firefox 134.0.2

Hi!

I was shocked when I recently visited a website of a company that offers IDEs. I've downloaded one of the IDEs a couple of weeks ago and now that I've came back to the website looking for plugins, the website still "knew" which version of the IDE I had downloaded because it gave me warnings about plugins not compatible with my IDE version. Now: My privacy settings in Firefox are "strict", the option "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" is checked and I've closed Firefox several times in the meantime. Still, the website has information about my identity.

I would have expected that with these settings something like what I've described wouldn't happen. I must say, I'm quite disappointed. Is there anything else that I can do within Firefox to enhance my privacy?

Hello! I am developing a web server, from which users can download large files. These files take a few seconds to generate, and cannot be generated ahead-of-time; only when a user requests them. The server therefore responds to such requests by first sending the HTTP response headers (without "Content-Length"), which can be written immediately, then generating the file, and sending the generated file as the response body.

In Chromium, this leads to the "Save As..." dialog appearing instantly, so the file can be generated & downloaded in the background while the user picks a location.

In Firefox (v132, linux x64), the "Save As..." dialog waits for the file to be generated before appearing, which is not user-friendly. During deeper testing, I discovered that Firefox appears to wait for my server to send at least 1 byte of data from the file (in the response body, after sending the HTTP response headers), before the "Save As..." dialog appears.

I have searched the Firefox settings and documentation but did not find anything that would explain this behavior. Is this a bug?

We are running Roaming Profiles from our Active Directory architecture. It seems that a lot of files happen to have too long path&filename for example :

Do you have any idea to configure Mozilla so we keep it able to handle these filename length ?

We cant use wildcard in exclusions so we cant exclude whats in a subfolder of each profile. It's not supported by ActiveDirectory GPO.

I’m using Firefox version 134.0.2 in MacOS 15.2 with 1Password version 8.10.56 for Mac. The 1Password extension is enabled and the app is open and unlocked but each time I open a site requiring login and password I get a pop-up telling me to, “Press the 1Password icon in your browser’s toolbar to unlock.” This requires me to unlock 1Password again to enter the site’s login/password combination. Not sure if this is a Firefox or 1Password issue but it’s annoying. Any thoughts on a resolution? Thanks

Hello Mozilla, I have a Lenovo G700 laptop with the WINDOWS 7 Pro operating system My browser is Firefox 115.19.0 (see file Firefox.jpg) During the security check in online banking I am told that the browser is out of date (see firefox2.jpg) But I can only update the version and it says "Firefox is up to date" What's wrong with that?

For the Life of me, I cannot Figure-out how to drag-and-drop websites from the Address bar, to the Desktop on the Computer. I tried dragging the Padlock didn't work. I tried dragging the Shield didn't work. Tried even dragging the whole URL. and even made bookmarks with the Link just to try it.

What am I missing? Wracking my brain trying to Figure-out the Conundrum

I just updated Firefox only because I got an email saying my version would no longer be supported. EVERY TIME I update something goes wrong. This time the SEARCH field on my address bar disappeared--I can't do searches. HOW DO I FIX THIS? ALways next to the address was a place for inputting searches--WHY would you disappear this? Also WHY is the pointer so large I can't read text underneath when I roll over icons?

The latest update changed all my text back to the tiny size. I tried changing it in about:config to 1.5 (it's currently set to 1.2, from when I had to fix it before) but that made all the toolbars larger as well (I need compact size). I tried a css fix I saw on reddit, but that didn't work. Please help. I am visually impaired and can't read this tiny font.

I already have my userChrome.css folder set up, so any code that works there would be great. TIA
