When I opened Firefox[^1] today I was greeted with a "Donate to Mozilla Foundation" page open, with the message:

"You power Firefox. Now donate to make good tech the default.

Mozilla Foundation — the non-profit behind Firefox — is building a future where technology serves people, not power.

Your donation to Mozilla Foundation keeps the internet open, private, and built for people. Donate today to make good on the promise of the internet."

Does this message mean that Donations to the Mozilla Foundation now fund Firefox development? As I understand it, previously donations were not allowed to be used by the Mozilla Corporation, which actually develops Firefox. I'd love to donate to fund Firefox development, as I feel it is a critically important open source project.

I wanna thx for having Mozilla Firefox and i wanna ask about products for example with commercial versions but available for non profit organization in eastern EU area with social background. Im ask because afraid from local little old soft/dev gave as gift decade ago vs "confusing" logs etc?

I would like to donate .. i really would .. but .. I use PAYPAL for donations, and when I try to donate, the first thing you do is ask questions I'm not going to answer. I have an account already .. seriously that should be enough to give you money. OR if i go to paypal, have a donation link there.

Is it possible to make a donation to Mozilla without providing so much personal information? I got a message on Firefox today asking for a donation, but when I tried to do that, I was asked for my home address. It's a general rule of internet marketing that people who use the internet would rather do anything than pay for something, so it's bad psychology to impose unnecessary conditions when you're asking for a donation. I don't have to provide my home address when I make donations to other organisations, so why does Mozilla need my home address? I apologize if this is the wrong place to ask this question, but I can't find anywhere else to ask it!

On a 15" tablet, it would be nice to see the imap folders permanently, so i could drag emails to them. Im a librarian and i like to have a nice structured subject ordered inbox. But i cant find any ways to fix the folders list to the left side..

I access my Outlook email on-line using the Firefox browser. When I try to copy and paste information from one email (that I've received) to another (I'm writing) I get an error message saying that the browser cannot access my clipboard. I can't find any place in Firefox settings that controls this access. How can I make this function work? If it makes any difference, I use a MacBook Pro running Sonoma 14.8.2.

I just tried to make my first ever donation to Thunderbird, 3 USD per month which won't leave me short at the end of this or any month, (rather than a 36 USD donation once), but it got refused as the minimum amount is 5 USD

Very surprised by this. I know 3 USD per month is not a lot but if every user donated instead of just 3%, it would be a fortune for TB

I am logging in to my browser as normal, but am still getting the notification "You must log in to this network before you can access the Internet". This is cutting me off from regular internet access as if I was not logged in.

I recently switched from Safari to Firefox on my IPhone. When I realized that they don’t integrate I deleted the RoboForm app. and reinstalled it on my IPhone. Unfortunately they still don’t integrate and RoboForm will not fill in forms and passwords. Contacted RoboForm and they told me that they are investigating but I think that they don’t have an answer. In the meantime I have to copy/paste my logins. Somewhere I read that I should have the RoboForm icon on the top right corner of my screen- never happened. Anybody else goes through similar issues? Does anyone have suggestions(other than switch browser/password manager)? Thanks, Alberto
