I have been using Mozilla Thunderbird for decades and they have even contributed a small amount of money to Thunderbird periodically. Just within the last two or three days all of a sudden I have been unable to send emails with my phone. I receive emails, but I do not send them. So I opened up a laptop where I did not have Thunderbird and set it up properly through Spectrum using the incoming and outgoing servers as mail.twc.com. and yes, just like on my phone. I continue to receive new emails, but even with the laptop I was unable to send an email. I received the message"send message error sending a message failed. The message could not be sent because the connection to outgoing server smtp mail.twc.com was lost in the middle of the transaction. Try again."I contacted Spectrum twice and both times they had me try to send a message through their Web server spectrum.net and that message did go through. Of course then their response is that this has to be a problem with the third-party app meaning Mozilla Thunderbird, and they can’t help with that at all. I sure would appreciate some help because I hate to walk away from Thunderbird as well as change my email address after all of these decades.

Cannot dismiss reminder or set the snooze. Get the following:

Status Code: 2147500037, The request cannot be processed.

An error occurred when writing to the calendar charles.novak@gmail.com! Please see below for more information.

Server Replied with 400 If you're seeing this message after snoozing or dismissing a reminder and this is for a calendar you do not want to add or edit events for, you can mark this calendar as read-only to avoid such experience in future. To do so, get to the calendar properties by right-clicking on this calendar in the list in the calendar or task view.

Dear Sirs' Happy New Year I have a problem that I have had no luck in resolving via the Thunderbird Help option. My problem is that recently I have been unable to receive any images on all my mail which I receive within my Inbox. I have chcked the mail within Thunderbirds Server (ie BT), and all the images do appear on all the mail at this source. I would be most grateful if you could please help me in this matter. Unified Inbox missing some inboxes

I have 4 accounts in Thunderbird, each with an Inbox. Thunderbird shows the blue 'inbox' icon next to these accounts in their respective account folders, but only two of … (read more)

I have 4 accounts in Thunderbird, each with an Inbox. Thunderbird shows the blue 'inbox' icon next to these accounts in their respective account folders, but only two of them show up in the "Unified Folders" inbox. I don't see any way to add the other two inboxes to the Unified Folders inbox.

It's possible I accidentally removed the two missing inboxes, but I am not sure how I could have done that. Is it possible to add them back in?

The ISP's tech support had me close (? delete ?) my Thunderbird e-mail account & start a new one.

I cannot access - use any of the ?17-19? folders. How do I, if I can, recover the folders so I can start moving relevant messages to them?

I have built up a collection of more than 400 deleted emails in my 'Deleted' folder. I am sure I will not need to refer to any of them again, and I would like to finally remove them. In the past, there was a command among the various sets of commands at the top of the page, which removed all of them, after confirming that this is what I wished to do. I can no longer find this command. Please tell me where to find it. If it no longer exists, tell me how to deal with 'deleted' material.

I'm on latest T-bird 140.7.0-ESR 64-bit. I have random failures when trying to move individual files or folders from LOCAL FOLDERS back to MAIN emails. Moves some, sometimes, then won't move, or will move some but not all, and often corrupts the files back into Main folder. I only use one email under T-Bird. This has happened for years, but I have been judicious about moving files and lived with it. But it's still a problem that I would have thought something like this would have been fixed long ago? .The formatting of LOCAL FOLDERS & FILES in LOCAL FOLDERS seems different & convoluted vs. a straightforward formatting in MAIN where I can easily move withing Microsoft file management. But trying to reconfigure and COPY or MOVE Files or Folders from LOCAL is very problematic.

Hi, am not finding anything helpful in the support area, so hoping someone can help me solve. When a calendar reminder pops up, and I try to snooze or dismiss, I get this message:

Status Code: 2,147,500,037, null

when I view the saved passwords, the saved logins window does not work properly. I cannot drag the borders left or right to view whole information such as passwords or provider. The borders just refuse to move. I therefore can only view partial information under any heading. Please help if possible. Thank you.

Guten Tag, ich instaliere schon auf 2 PC mit Wondows 11 Ihre Email Programme Thunderbird und ich habe an statt ein Papierkorb eine Mape Zeichen. wenn ich lösche Email, dann die verschwieden und die kann mann nicht wieder finden. Hi, I have thunderbird connected to a number of client corporate Office 365 systems (5 in total). The teams option works fine for 4 of them and is quite usable for chat but one of them responds that the browser is an unsupported version. I use Ubuntu 24.04 and have thunderbird and firefox installed from deb files (and the repos) so both are the current/release versions and overall everything works well so I don't believe there is a systemic issue. All connections to the clients' exchange systems are through the owl plugin. With the one client, as soon as you try to connect to their teams site, the 'Hmmm, your browser isn't supported' page comes up. As I manage that client's office platform, I know I've not made any changes to the back-end settings nor have I done so or had to do so on any of my other clients platforms so I don't think there is anything unusual about the Office 365 side (but am willing to be proved wrong). If I try logging in to the problematic teams site using firefox it works perfectly so I don't believe it is firefox being an issue. I have deleted and re-added the account. Has anyone else seen this and got it sorted, and if so how please? Many thanks, Scott...

Overnight, while computer was sleeping, Thunderbird appears to have forgotten the email password. A dialog box pops up when checking email "login to server pop.centurylink.net with username {correct email address displayed} failed." With options retry, enter new password, and cancel available. Retry simply loops back to this error. Entering the (verified) correct password has no positive impact at all. Program and computer rebooted, no change. Windows 11 Pro. Password was not recently changed.

1. I am getting Mozilla Thunderbird ESR notices pop up when I log on to my PC (W11). I checked my Thunderbird version and I have 146.0.1 and I am on the release channel so why am I getting these notices ? 2. Recently I noticed that when I try to move e-mail messages to a specific folder, I right click on the message and get the prompt Move To and then Recent Destinations where the problem exists. The list of Recent Destinations used to be in alphabetical order and now it is sorted by most recent destination time. This slows me down considerably. Please revert. Thanks !!
