Hi, Thunderbird updated this morning, and now I cannot access my email. I've rebooted, confirmed my server settings, and it has not fixed it.

I am running Linux Mint and Thunderbird 140.9.0esr (64-bit). When I try to setup my Comcast email account I get errors and the program basically stops. For example "can't access property "cleanup", this [#configVerifier] is undefined". When I allow Thunderbird to do the initial search and follow its recommendation I get this error: Error creating account Incoming server already exists

I have Tbird running on two other computers THAT HAVE BEEN TURNED OFF. I noted that if I tried setting up Tbird on my newest Mint installation, i.e., Tbird running on my Windows machine, it would also fail to make the account.

I am at a loss as to what is going on. Any ideas???

Hello everyone, I manage 2 email adresses on thunderbird from a specific domain xx@xxxx.com. When i send an email from these adresses, even I have tried different settings to record, it fails. So, my last setting is the original one suggested by the app... but nothing => see image Any idea ? or do you know another way ?

had the need to start a fresh thunderbird profile.

now I forget which setting(s) allow for thunderbird to scan the local folders, NOT the internet, for new mail.

any suggestions?

FROM POP TO IMAP CHANGED AFTER I CANNOT RECEIVE MASSAGES. The sent mail folders in the webmail and Thunderbird are synchronized. Account password is correct. My iphone is received mail messages.

For 3 days, I haven't been able to access my GMX email account. It tells me every time "Login to the server imap.gmx.com with username '[edited from public] @gmx.com' failed. I hadn't changed anything beforehand and all the entered data is correct. My other accounts like gmail, yahoo, works just fine. Tried installing older versions and still no success. Outlook app works fine either. I'm pretty sure that GMX mail server made some changes that Thunderbird is missing. Please verify.

I have for a while been getting popups that TBird is unable to write email to a mailbox.

'Unable to write the email to the mailbox. Make sure the email system allows you write privileges, and you have enough file space to copy the mailbox'.

I saw that at least one other person reported this, and the suggestions included:

1. Rebooting. Done, no effect. 2. Antivirus interference. I am using standard Windows antivirus. Have been using same for years without issue.

The problem does not appear to interfere with writing to mailboxes. Seems to be an erroneous popup only.

My Thunderbird Desktop Version 140.9.0esr 64 bit. Help please. Installed Mobile T'bird on android mobile. On Desktop (MS Win11) T'Bird followed Settings - Export to Mobile - included all email accounts and Passwords - Export resulting in pop up box requesting Pin number. Don’t know a Pin nor can find a Pin nor find Settings - Accounts - Sign in options to change it.

I have recently moved to Linux, Ubuntu, and Thunderbird. I can't figure out how to make bullets or numbered lists.

When I try to Get Messages, I get this coming up (see attached) and cannot go any further. I don't know if this a scam or safe to click on any of it.

I can send emails but not receive because of this in my Thunderbird. I also have email setup on my mobile phone and can receive and send on that one and received your code number on my mobile phone.

Unable to re-install gmail account in Thunderbird. Error 400 malformed server.

Two gmail accounts could not access the server. deleted one and tried to re install it without success.The accounts and passwords were not in the "saved passwords" in settings. The accounts and passwords for comcast are there and those accounts work fine.
