Delete history across all synced devices?

I have 3 synced devices. Included in my sync options is History. Not all history seems to sync, and deleting history on one device doesn't delete it on the others. Can anyone tell me how to truly sync and delete all history across all synced devices? If this feature isn't already available, I ask that Firefox developers please make it available. Thanks!

Hi,

I'm using Firefox over various devices and systems.

For instance: - Firefox binary downloaded from Mozilla website and executed over Debian Testing - Firefox from Arch Linux official repositories in Arch systems

My doubt is: could this cause any problem with the Sync function? Or Sync has the flexibility to allow syncing between a wide specter of Firefox installations

For instance: Could I add Fennec from F-Droid to my LineageOS smartphone or Firefox-ESR from Debian repositories to my desktop machine, log in with my account in all of them and synchronize all the sessions without problems?

Thanks a lot in advance!, and let me know if I should add any technical information.

Hello I just formated my laptop.I installed mozilla and logged into my account to sync everything.I was waiting half an hour just to realize at the end that nothing was synced and nothing can't be synced anymore,like i lost everything passwords bookmarks etc. I'm pretty sure that was my account on mozilla and i activated sync before i format.. what can be done?

Hi forum The email provider for my preferred secondary email address uses greylisting. It works, very well. The confirming email from firefox is sent from a random amazon address, which gets greylisted as intended. There's a 5 minute limit for entering the confirmation code, but greylisting slows delivery of the email to around 15 minutes, waiting for the amazon sending server to try multiple times. Is there another way to update the secondary email address ?

I just downloaded Firefox onto my new computer. I went to sign-in and it keeps telling me that I have an incorrect password. It is the correct password because I used it to login here. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it on the new computer with no joy. What should I do? Also, I can login and out just fine with my old computer.

I have a problem with enabling two-step authentication for my Mozilla account. There have been several questions regarding issues with two-step authentication, but none of them applies to my case, so I started another one.

When I try to enable 2SA, there are seemingly no problems. When I scan the QR code and enter the 6-digit security code, I don't get the "invalid two-step authentication code" message. I do get the 8 10-digit recovery codes. After I enter one of them I get a prompt saying "Two-step authentication enabled" (see attachment), but nothing else happens. It seems like the process is stuck here and isn't completed.

I have tried setting 2SA from my profile settings (https://accounts.firefox.com/settings) too, but when I logout and login again, it says Not Set.

I wouldn't normally use 2SA at all if it hasn't been made mandatory for logging into Add-ons (addons.mozilla.org). Now, I'm locked out of my Add-ons account and can't access my extensions!

I use the Firefox browser as my password manager for saved sites. After my team viewer failed I downloaded the browser on this laptop to retrieve the sites and login but when I try to sync nothing happens? I tried History but don't see my past sites.

If the sync doesn't bring up my saved information what is the point?

I switched from Chrome to Firefox recently, but am unable to sign in to my Firefox Account (whilst using Firefox). I'm on 88.0 (64-bit) on the latest public release of macOS.

Whether I try to sign into Firefox Sync using Firfox's menu or Preferences screen, or try to load accounts.firefox.com — just nothing happens: in the browser, the Sign In button doesn't do anything, and trying to load the URL I just get a blank screen. If I go to https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/fxa/authenticate, and click the 'Continue with Firefox Accounts' button, again - nothing happens.

I've rebooted my machine, disabled my VPN, and disabled any add-ons which might conflict. I'm posting this question having signed in via Safari, so I know my account works and my network connection is okay.

I couldn't find any Help articles. Does anyone have some suggestions I could try please

Hi,

I had logged onto my Firefox sync account and shutdown my computer with "clear Firefox history on close" activated and can't recover my session even looking through my profiles folder for .jsonlz4 files.

Does this just clear my local history or is the sync'd history irrecoverable? (It seems like it is)

I've tried using window's file recovery tool to scan for the deleted files on my SSD but after reviewing the files with a hex editor, a huge top portion was zero'd out. Is this to do with TRIM or the data recovery tool just not picking up the right sectors?
