Earlier today I reformatted my device but when I logged in to firefox I can only see my history is getting synced my bookmarks are empty, I've checked and bookmarks are check off and they should be synced. How do I get them to sync? It has worked fine in the past. Thanks.

I'm attempting to set up Firefox in a newly installed OS and have logged into my Sync account. Many aspects seem to be loaded in, but the status via the Settings is stuck at "Syncing..." despite waiting several hours. Quitting Firefox results in a crash window popping up.

There are no files in the weave/logs directory. The weave/failed directory has multiple json files; most almost completely empty. addons.json has an ID, but that's pretty much it.

Deleting the .mozilla directory and starting over yielded no change in behavior.

I was logged out of both computers so when I signed back in to sync my desktop to my laptop, it would not sync my rows that I have on my desktop I ended up changing two bookmarks on the homepage Rows when I was signed out but they would not change on my laptop when I was signed back in I had to do it manually, but if I stay signed in, I'm sure that it will change but how fast is it supposed to do that because I waited at least five minutes and nothing changed. I also clicked on my icon and clicked on sync now, but nothing changed.

Is 'Sync Firefox data' a way to 'back-up' your browser?

(ie: Can I retrieve all my urls even if I change my iMac (etc) to a later one?) Is 'Sync Firefox data' the way to do this?

I have used Firefox bookmarks via sync for 20 years!! My previous computer is bricked and cannot be accessed. I have a fancy sync code but when I download Firefox on my phone or new computer, it’s like I’m a first time user. It offers me a new sync code but won’t allow me to use what I have. Are my files recoverable? Can I wipe from my old machine too?

I had to reset my computer. Then when tried to sync my mozilla data. Maybe because I had to change my password due it was in my computer's passwords key (I didn't memorize it, my bad). I'm worry because I'm a ebay's seller and all the bookmarks are so important for my store due there are info of my items future sales. So I'm so sad and desperate. I have profiles on desktop , i had enabled sync in all profiles when the feature was first introduced. the account icon always showed that it is syncing , but in the sync tab , no visited tab list appears of any profile in both the desktop .,, i installed firefox on the android today to check synchronization but its tabs never show in desktop profile and the android tells last synchronization never....neither the desktop tabs appear in android history

Open Firefox on your mobile device. 2. Go to the menu ( on iOS or on Android) and tap Sync and save data 3. Tap Ready to Scan and hold your phone over this code" First of all, this choice does not exist in the iPhone Firefox menu. If I go into "Settings" and press "Sync now" none of my passwords show up within Firefox. Please help. Thank you.
