The issue started about one week ago (today is 10/11/25). When I wanted to print while in Firefox browser, the print never executed. Instead the screen froze as did the browser. I had to do some experimenting to use my pointer and open a different browser. Yes - besides the pointer being frozen (all that showed was an hourglass) my keyboard was also frozen. When I finally opened a different browser and printed the same item, no problem. I had to close Firefox to be able to fully use my laptop again. I searched the solutions and none had an effect. Firefox would still freeze/hang/lock up when trying to print. The browser is up to date.

On our web site (www.outlookmovie.com) we have the option to print documents and we also have a watermarking option

when we do a print and save pdf from firefox > file > print and save a pdf if the option watermarking is off , it works, if the option watermarking is on, it does not work (the pdf exported is zero octet)

could you help us resolving this issue ?

By the way it works when we use Chrome or Safari

In the past I've been able to print pages generated from websites, such as ... https://www.bridgebum.com/short_suit_game_try.php

I recently used a well know "cleaner" to remove broken links etc ... Since then I've been unable to print these generated pages. I can still print documents that I've created. mail etc so it's not the connection between my PC (Windows 10) and the printer (canon TR7560)

I've tried the troubleshooting ideas in FAQ. I've reinstalled (without uninstalling) Firefox but neither helped.

Never had an issue printing google maps until a few weeks ago. Now the print function brings up the page header but no map. The map prints every time when I switch to Chrome. I opened the troubleshooting information page and clicked saved print settings in the printing section. That did not fix the issue.

unable to print. When I click on an AOL email to print, "preparing preview" appears. The email I'm trying to print usually just shows up and I click on number of copies, pages, etc. I need to print. Now, the preparing preview page does not load the email I'm trying to print, and then I get the "firefox has crashed" dialogue box appears.

I updated recently the Firefox installation on my Mac to 139.0.1. I noticed that I can no longer print from certain websites using Firefox. One example is from Alaskair, where I tried to print a ticket and it was just sitting there trying. I had no problem printing the same with Safari.

Is this a known problem? Any suggestion (other than just give up on Firefox and use Safari) for what to do about this?

Every time I update Firefox, new bugs cause annoying problems. That's why I usually not updating for a long time.

I have these printers.

"HP LaserJet M109-M112" (the Windows default) "HP LaserJet 1020"

Regardless of the value of print.sav_print_settings, the first print dialog after starting Firefox shows "HP LaserJet 1020".

If I manually put "HP LaserJet M109-M112" (no quotes) in print_printer, it reverts to "HP LaserJet 1020" the next time Firefox starts.

How do I make "HP LaserJet M109-M112" Firefox's default? Thanks.

When trying to print something using Firefox it automatically wants to print 2 copies, despite refreshing, rebooting, reinstalling and checking browser settings. This issue does not occur with other web browsers such as Microsoft Edge.

How can I customize the headers and footers of a print job? Specifically, I want to change where the header and footer info appear on the page, i.e., left corner, center, right corner. I'm using Firefox Browser version 141.03. Under Print > Options, the only option is to show or not show the headers and footers. There is no option to EDIT them. Thank you.

For the past several days I click on PRINT and it reads PREPARING PREVIEW . it goes on and on and never prints. I get a message from Firefox that says they are repairing some troubles?

I can no longer press the print button after a bank transaction wanting a print saved copy the Bank tells me I MUST upgrade my Mozzilla / Firefox programs... I do that every time YOU tell me and I press the button .. SO what else do I have to do>> As you may guess .. need some baby step help Please! Regards Jeanette

since most recent update ~7/28/25 or so, can't print anything

even print to pdf just creates a corrupt pdf file. have to use chrome instead
