This morning, I repeatedly received an "Authentication failed when connecting to outlook.office365.com" error. I removed the Outlook account from Thunderbird hoping to solve this by reconnecting and starting from scratch. Upon entering my email and password, my configuration is successfully located in the Mozilla database, but upon selecting the IMAP configuration and after a brief password check, I received the error message "Unable to log in at server. Probably wrong configuration, username or password". Is this an issue on Outlook's end, or is something not set up properly?

Hello. Firefox saves my password but not my email address on Royal Caribbean's website. I have tried everything possible but still will not work. I know how to save passwords and email address. All my other websites will open just fine, but not RC. I always have to type in my email address. Chrome does open up both my password and email address. I used AI and did everything it said to do with Firefox and still does not work. I have windows 11. If you have windows 11 try it and see if it works for you. Any help would be appreciated. I just started using Firefox (instead of Safari) and when I try to sign into some of my websites (e.g. banking) they want to send my a security code to verify it is me. I NEVER get those text messages/SMS. Most of the times I found a work-around, like having them email the code, but for my bank they only will send it as a text message. Is it some setting I need to adjust in Firefox?

The current email on this account has expired and is no longer operable. It appears I still need it to change my email. It is not possible for me to receive any messages at [edited] @delhitel.net.

I cannot recall my keepass password. I used my fingerprint to access. I put my password in keepass with it showing up when I opened the app but the app is all wonky in an endless deathloop and I cannot use my finger to access the database. What can I do?

Thunderbird 148+ on Windows 11 repeatedly prompts for the password when synchronizing an Exchange account (professional) configured with the native Exchange support (no add-on installed).

The account only offers “NTLM” or “Normal password” authentication methods. OAuth2 is not available in the account settings.

During synchronization, Thunderbird asks for the password separately for many folders. However, clicking “Retry” usually works immediately without changing the password, and manually re-entering the same password also works.

The issue then reappears for the next folder, causing continuous authentication prompts (I have many folders...).

Actions already tested:

• deleting saved passwords and tokens,
• deleting/renaming key4.db and logins.json,
• restarting Thunderbird,
• recreating the account.

The problem persists.

This looks like an authentication/session handling issue rather than an actual invalid password.

Why does every time TB updates it cause all my Yahoo accounts force me to get new passwords? Is it TB or Yahoo that is creating this problem of me having jump through hoops just to get the accounts working again. BTW the passwords in TB don't work when this happens.

Either this get resolved or I stop updating TB.
