I accidently deleted my account wendev@casema.nl So i wanted to add this account again but cannot because a password is required. How can I solve this. Solution for thsi problem is very much appreciated.

What does the following error message mean and how to correct it. "The STAT command did not succeed. Error getting message number and sizes. Mail server pop.gmail.com responded (AUTH) invalid credentials"

I don't know if this is a Google account problem or Thunderbird. I have gmail attached to Thunderbird. I changed my Google password. Upon launching T-bird, I received a box titled "Enter credentials for bXXx@gmail.com on imap.gmail.com"

Google is asking for 2-step verification but is not allowing me to use the simplest of verification - a text message. That option is grayed out.

Can I make changes directly in Thunderbird and this imap and avoid this Google nonsense?

I just donated 30 dollars to Thunderbird then uploaded the new version When I tried to login, it won't accept my password I tried to change it, but it won't accept that either Now all my important email information is not accessible to me. Thunderbird keeps asking for password every time I connect to Thunderbird. One solution online said to go into settings, then security, on the password part it says to delete your password in saved passwords, click ok and then restart Thunderbird. The password I have is the same for my BT account and access to my BT emails. If I delete this password in Thunderbird will it affect the password to my BT account or is it just for Thunderbird?

Firefox android provides no master password/primary password protection so passwords in the Firefox password manager are protected only by your lockscreen swipe(yeah, I thought the same thing you just thought).

I need full protection like on Desktop or I can't sync my passwords to Firefox. However, when temporarily enabling password sync on desktop, for example between two desktop devices it also temporarily enables it on android Firefox that you might have synced as well. The upshot of this for me is that I now have all my passwords on android without wanting them there for the above reasons.

So, how do I remove all passwords on my firefox android, without having to reinstall Firefox on the phone?

My password is not being accepted, so I'm not getting my mail. For quite awhile my password would sometimes not be accepted for sending email, but now it's for everything. How can I fix this?

I am trying to get my existing email to my new laptop. I did contact Spectrum and all the settings are correct. Thunderbird has asked me to change my password. It just keeps saying that my sign on will not work. I am using Windows 11.

I just setup a new version of Thunderbird and imported email from gmail. this seemed to work but I have no saved passwords and can't get the calendar to import and no address book.

I have authentication method set to OAuth2. server is imap.gmail.com

Any clue as to why this is not working. Dan
