Im just trying to find a way of opening more than one synced tab at a time on firefox for android. I know it can be done on pc version, but I have been given zero information on it for the android version...

I re-installed Thunderbird today but did not save the local folders before I did so. The local folders have all disappeared and I have searched high and low for them. I have used all the old profiles, but that does not bring them back. I can get the old emails, but just not the folders. I did think that I found some, but those folders were empty. Does Thunderbird delete these folders when you re-install? This is really upsetting, as I needed the folders. I looked for deleted folders and restored them, but that did not help. Any suggestions would be gratefully received. Thank you.

When I first start Thunderbird it works fine, for a while (as in possibly days). Then I notice when I try to send an email it just spins its wheels. When I shit it down then restart I get a poo-up saying Thunderbird is already running but not responding. Checking task manager I see two instances of Thunderbrd.exe in the liist. In order to successfully restart it I must first kill all instances (I use Sysinternals pskill.exe for this). Then when it restarts it typically downloads a messages that were previously blocked.

I've seen this behaviour even without firt trying a send. If I am expecting an email that isn't appearing (there is no indication of a problem when I try a demand fetch) I know that I'll have to do the same pskill/restart to fix it.

I'm running Thunderbird 115.8.1 (64-bit) on Windows 11 Home (currently up to date).

Sorry I am French, may English may be not accurate ! I am using Mozilla Thunderbird since a while now, and I had never a problem. Today, sundenly, I can't send anymore a single mail using Mozilla Thunderbird ? I get always this error message : "Service refused, please try later. OFR203_504 [504]" I try to fin a solution on the net but without great help, I don't know what todao, may be to fin another program instead of Mozilla Thunderbird ?

Greetings.

My organization experiences a strange issue regarding the Non-Delivery-Report (NDR) messages that are created by Microsoft Exchange Online and this problem occurs only when we use Mozilla Thunderbird and only with my organization's domain (to which i am an admin). When we send an email to a non-existent email address, the NDR generated by Exchange is delivered to junk folder. I have already contacted Microsoft support, but since the problem does not occur when i use their products, they directed me to contact Thunderbird support instead.

No filters or rules have been set within the Thunderbird client. In fact, if i send the message and close Thunderbird before the NDR is received and then open another email client (e.g. Outlook in desktop or online), the NDR is still delivered in my junk folder, so it seems that the filtering is done in the server.

To my best judgement, since the message that is marked as junk is not the one that was generated and sent through Thunderbird but the one that the server informs me that the recipient's address does not exist, it seems to me that it is a server-side problem. Moreover, it seems to me that in this case Microsoft marks its own system-generated messages as junk which sounds a bit strange. However, Microsoft's support directed me to Thunderbird support so here we are.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to ask me for any additional information that might be needed.

My husband and I share an email account from TWC. The original account was weav13@roadrunner.com and then I added Weaver12@roadrunner.com. Recently we were unable to send emails from my Weaver12@roadrunner.com. I went into settings and changed the Default to my Weaver12@roadrunner.com and was able to send emails. Then his email did not work. How do I fix the settings to work for both of us. Also, at the same time I quit getting emails sent to my iphone. I have contacted Spectrum who administers our account and my server is mail.twc.com. I have tried many setting changes to fix this, as well as, searching on this site. The incoming email settings are POP. I have seen the Port should be 993 or 995. Not certain which is correct, but have tried both. The outgoing email settings are attached. How do I fix this? Also, how do I get emails on my iphone? Hope someone can help! Thank you.

For the last few days, I am receiving only about 80% of the emails sent to me on my Thunderbird email. I receive the other emails on my ISP Squirrelmail web portal.

I have not set up any message filters on my Thunderbird email.

My old computer died, so this is a brand new thunderbird install on a brand new computer.

When I click a hyperlink url in an email (or the default welcom window), nothing happens.

I checked that the default web browser was Firefox in windows, but I also changed it to Chrome to give it a kick.

I also went into the advanced preferences to make sure network.protocol-handler.warn-external.http and network.protocol-handler.warn-external.https were set to true (but also checked with false). After each change, I closed TB and relaunched.

Under "Settings", in "Content Type", for http and https, I tried both "Always ask" and "use Firefox (default)". I restarted TB after each change.

I have searched this forum and for some reason, I just cannot find a solution. I would screen capture an error or whatever, but literally nothing happens when I click on any hyperlink.

Any help would be appreciated.

This purple capsule icon appears in the upper left-hand corner of my Firefox browser when I share a tab using Zoom or Google meet. It does not go away when I stop sharing my screen, or if I quit Zoom. If I'm using two displays, sometimes it sticks on one screen when I move my Firefox window and hovers over every window in any app. The only way I can make it disappear is to quit and restart Firefox, which isn't practical. I can't find any setting in the Mac Control Panel or in Firefox to turn this off (Reddit is split on if this is a Firefox problem or a MacOS problem).

Recently when I click on GetMessages for my gmail account, in addition to any genuine incoming I will received copies of my outgoing. I believe it is a user error, but I don't know what control I have misconfigured that would cause that result. It is only happening for my gmail account, not for three other email server/services that I use on a daily basis.

Yesterday, March 12 my incoming e-mails were of a 'normal' format; this morning the entire format had changed --background colouring gone and access to some business reminders of appointments etc not available. e.g. Your Next Door Neighbor I was no longer able to click on link to access their site. I have a number of category folders under 'Archives' and then sub category folders under some of those. One is for archiving emails from my energy supplier. They were recently taken over by another company, so I changed the name of the sub folder to reflect that. All seemed OK until I had to restart the computer as a result of a Windows update. Now that renamed folder has completely disappeared. I can do a search in Archives for a known email from them, and it is found, but the location just shows as the new name of the sub folder - no clue as to where that sub folder is now hiding ...

Any thoughts how to find it and put it back where it belongs, anyone ?

Hi, my computer crashed and we were able to get the old files and I have them saved (Saved Files for MZForum. The file date from the crash Feb 22 and 23 and the new ones are March 9 and afterword.

I was able to replace the Logins-JSON file and you can see the date difference in the Folder which is in the Permissions picture attached. I can't move the Key 4 file over because it is asking for Administrator access.

1 - How do I get that to move this file? 2 - The Form History SQLite is doing the same thing? 3 - Should I also replace the Logins Backup and the places.sqlite?
