Thunderbird v31.4.0 Linux Mint Debian Edition 3.1.2-amd64 Cinnamon 2.0.14

When clicking on a link within an email, the system crashes and the monitor display displays jagged, diagonal lines. A cold boot is required. This can be repeated.

Same results running in Safe Mode.

Any ideas?

I have run Firefox in Safe Mode, and I still get the crashes, often on a Checkout page after getting an order together. My software is updated to the latest versions available, and I have kept my security up to date. If we cannot find a fix to stop all this crashing, I'll have to give up on Firefox as being highly unreliable. Since I am totally blind, RELIABILITY IS VERY IMPORTANT TO ME!

Hey there, awesomes! I'd like to change my Firefox pdf viewer's background color (both sides of the pdf) to dark, currently it shows light gray (see `background_bg.png`). And here is effect I want it to look like (see screenshot from Chrome `wished_bg.png`). Thanks in advance (:

PS: I don't want to change my theme to dark. It seems I have to change my css, but I dunno which & how.

My laptop locked up and I had to reset windows with the keep personal data option. However, upon restart whilst my documents were visible no Thunderbird mail or local accounts were visible and Thunderbird reverted to a new install screen. I restored windows to a previous version a couple of days older which upon restart reinstated my email accounts but without the passwords, however I cannot find my local folders at all? This is a disaster for me.... Can anyone help please? Thanks Adrian

I installed Thunderbird in Tiny Core Linux v.10 Everything worked fine, I added two e-mail accounts which both worked well and added the passwords in the master password configuration. Next time I opened Thunderbird to check my mail, the application asked for the master password. This failed. I tried to open and check the passwords, but fail to open the master password folder. I am very sure the password is correct. PLEASE NOTE: Tiny Core Linux loads in RAM, as do the applications being opened. It may be possible, when closing the system, the original password was not back-up'ed automatically. How can I delete the master password entry, so I can enter the respective P/W's for the respective accounts, and without having to re-install the application?

The configuration related to smtp.vcn.com must be corrected I have checked all settings and had the ISP check also and can not get past this error.Any help would be appreciated

I just installed the latest version of Thunderbird today and am unable to receive my emails at all. Thunderbird gets stuck at "Connected to pop.free.fr ..."

I haven't changed any settings and my account is configured correctly.

The problem apparently stems from updating Thunderbird.

Could you correct this problem please?

I have a laser printer set as default on a Windows 10 laptop. In Mozilla, when I select print, that laser printer has the green default check, but Mozilla defaults to Microsoft Print to PDF instead. How can I get Mozilla to accept the default printer without deleting Print to PDF which I do sometimes use but don't want as default? Image attached--it auto-checks PDF but you can see the laser listed above it is the default.
