Can not send emails through RoadRunner Mozilla Thunderbird. Can receive. Can send in Spectrum.net, so email account is working properly. Can send and receive with android phone, just not Mozilla. Can not check for latest updates.

Ich benutze Firefox auf zwei Windows 11 Rechnern. Die Version ist auf beiden Rechnern gleich, (149.9 esr 32Bit ) , beide Rechner greifen im Fall des Verfassens einer E-Mails mit Anhängen auf einen gemeinsamen Speicher über LAN zu, seit kurzem gibt es bei einem der beiden Rechner aber beim Anhängen einer Datei an die Mail eine Verzögerung von ca. 5 Sekunden, bevor der Anhang auftaucht, unabhängig von dessen Größe. ( Also auch kleine Pdf´s werden verzögert angezeigt.) Der zweite Rechner hat das Problem nicht, selbst bei grösseren Anhängen. ( Auch sind die Rechner fast bau-und ausstattungsgleich ) Testprogramme auf dem Problem-PC zeigen keine Auffälligkeiten beim Schreiben und Lesen, auch die Internet-Verbindung ist die gleiche... Habe bereits die Einstellungen der Konten und des Programms in beiden Rechnern verglichen, sie sind gleich. Hat jemand eine Idee, woran das liegen kann?

I was not receiving emails from a Comcast.net email account. I called Best Buy and they used remote access to fix the problem. That fix included deleting and reinstalling the email account. After hanging up with their tech, I notices that dozens of folders and thousands of emails from the last 12 years were gone. I called the Geek Squad back and they could not solve the problem. Are the missing emails still on my computer somewhere? If not, can Comcast recover them? Please help!

My Mozilla log-in address is an old one - I have changed my email provider from xxxxxxx@TalkTalk.net to xxxxxxx@outlook.com. Although I can still get into Mozilla I can't change my log-in to make other updates. The advice provided is to make a new extra login and then make that one the primary but it does not work.

I am getting the message "updates are disabled by the admin." I am the only one here so I don't know how that happened. I need to install Slack but need to update first. I followed the steps to edit registry but still can't update. Please advise.

My mothers new phone won't load external links and mine does?

I have way more strict security settings and same extensions. She has 2 and I have 13 extensions but they overlap and are not the issue. When someone sends her a link her Firefox does not convert the link like mine does, she gets a link in format https://share.google/ + string of letters, when she opens it, it's a blank page. When I open the same link it converts it from that to a regular link (https://). I have installed Firefox to at least 3 other people and none have this issue. I don't have this issue on desktop either.

If it makes a difference: Out all the people that have this browser on their phone she's the only one that has a new phone with Android 16 (mine is Android 14). They are both up to date on both software and Firefox updates.

I use Firefox as my browser and have used Yahoo as my home page and browser for decades. Starting a few days ago, every time I type in the Yahoo search bar I get a Google search page result. I opened Bing and tried to search on their page and got the same result - Google. This is driving me crazy. I want my old Yahoo search back. I am at a loss as to how to fix this. I have looked at the Firefox settings and, of course, Yahoo is no longer listed. A shame. I don't know what to do at this point. Maybe the answer is to get rid of Firefox, but it has worked well for me for a long time. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

в моменте браузер перестал запускаться , я люблю твикать и оптимизировать виндовс подумал дело в ней , но переустановил виндовс скачал обновления виндовс и начал по одному шагу оптимизировать и делать настройки виндовс , по итогу настроил точно так же как и раньше , но браузер работал , скачал античит фейсит и перестал работать , сейчас переустановил виндовс не настраивал вообще только скачал браузер и античит фейсита и браузер перестал запускаться выдавая ошибку

Looking at my Firefox 147.0.1 settings for macOS 26.2 (Apple M1), I'm trying to adjust two settings:

-- I'd like to remove Languages -> English (GB) (its existence has odd side effects, like triggering United Airlines to offer fares in Pounds Sterling, and I'd prefer to just have English (US))

-- I'd like to disable Play Audio and Video for about:welcome (in regular and private windows)

I can see no way to accomplish this currently -- why?

I was using WhatsApp and i am facing problem. This account can no longer be used on WhatsApp. I have not done any such mistake on WhatsApp and my whatsapp is not working. It is very important to me. I am writing to express my frustration regarding the recent UI changes. After the latest update, the standard toolbar icons (Get Messages, Write, Address Book, reply, etc.) completely disappeared for me, leaving behind nothing but a search bar. Even using the "Restore Default Set" option fails to bring the essential navigation buttons back. While I can eventually fix these issues as a power user, these constant, breaking UI changes are a major problem for average users. For instance, my 65-year-old mother relies on a stable interface. Every time a rollout breaks the visual layout or hides basic functions, she is unable to use her email until I step in to fix what the update messed up.

Forcing users to manually rebuild their primary navigation toolbar after an update is not a "feature"—it’s a regression that alienates long-time especially elderly users who need reliability over constant redesigns. Please prioritize UI stability and ensure that "Reset to Default" actually restores a functional set of icons.

If you need further information I'll be glad to hear and hope you can give me an easy fix for this problem.
