Is there a way to refresh a page on Firefox for Android by dragging down the viewport?

I use it all the time on Opera for Android and it's really helpful.

Wondering if you can enable that option or where to request that feature for a new version of the browser.

Since an update a few weeks ago, every time I enter an address or tap one of my most visited sites, instead of continuing on from the previous site, it opens a new tab.

I've scoured the settings but can't find anything. Surely this is a bug? I end up with 10 tabs within minutes. Can't understand what the purpose of this change is

As the title reads, I'm trying to keep my browser settings including all the tweaks I have painstakingly made to "about:config" as well as the extensions.

I have done this before on a windows machine and it's quite straight forward in just having to copy the profile folder to the firefox installation in the appdata directory on another machine.

I have gained root access on both devices and a root permissioned file explorer to copy the profile to an SD card that I can trasnfer between the phones. Once the profile folder is copied to the data/data/org.mozilla.firefox/files/mozilla directory and the fresh installation of firefox executed on the new device, firefox instantly crashes.

What am I missing?

I'm getting Secure Connection Failed error on every single website I try to visit. Including sites such as microsoft.com, duckduckgo.com, google.com, etc. (Strangely, mozilla.org works fine.) Try Again never works, and Advanced - Accept risk works sometimes, but not always and if I close Firefox app and re-open it's back to the error page. I can't believe this is a common problem, so there must be something about my phone that's causing this. Android 11. Happens whether or not WiFi is enabled. What could it be?

I've noticed for a couple of weeks now that audio streaming halted when the lock screen kicks in, regardless of whether I've blanked the screen myself (hardware button) or not on my Samsung Galaxy Tab A8. I was running Firefox for Android v98.2.0 (2022 Mar 13 on Android v9 and with the following add-ons:

This is behavior I haven't seen before, and I've been streaming on this device with Firefox and other apps for a couple of years now. To determine whether it's Firefox or Android itself at fault, I streamed under a different app (RadioGarden). I do not get the cut-outs with the latter; it carries on happily until I terminate the app.

I have upgraded to v98.3.0 and will test again with that. Searching on the Support forum, the last reports I could find of anything like this dated from Aug 2020 or so and quite a few versions back. Is this something that's cropped up again? Is anyone else seeing anything like this?

Hi there I have used Firefox on my android phone for the longest time, and never had an issue. A couple of days ago it crashed immediately on trying to open it. I repeated trying to open it across the course of the day - but continued crashing. I deleted it, and have set to use Chrome. I reinstalled Firefox - same issue. I am not techy-techy (!) but would like to have Firefox back on my phone as all my passwords are there. Any help appreciated Thank you :)

Hello everybody, I use Firefox for some days now, but I'm a little annoyed with the back button / back gesture usage with tabs. On all browsers I already tried, pressing back button finally close the tab after going back to the first website opened. But with Firefox, it only go to home and let the website open without closing taba. So we have to often close manually opened tabs. Is there a way to change that please ? Sorry for my bad english, I hope it's clear.

In the search settings it is possible to add a search engine not in the list. Qwant.com is an excellent, privacy oriented search engine far better than DuckDuckGo in my experience. However, it does not follow the format Firefox for Android requires which is to add "%s" at the end of the string. Please let me know the exact string to use to add Qwant.com Thank you for all of your help. Please just provide the string needed in quotes if possible to make it very clear.

In the recent update, there is a new feature which allowed people to view pdf directly in the browser rather than downloading it. Ever since this was implemented, I am not able to download any pdf, instead it keeps opening up the pdf in another tab which is not what I'm trying to do. Is there a way to fix this?

About:config simply shows me a blank screen.

Hello. There is an issue that I have faced whith in Firefox android browser and that is I can not find safe search option in order to have safe browsing I mean like blocking inappropriate and unmoral sites and contents... I am thankfully waiting for your answer please Have a nice day

I have FF installed on my Android, but can only get to it by tapping SETTINGS/APPS/Firefox. I am unable to create an icon or 'shortcut' to reside on the Android's home screen where it would be most convenient. Has anyone experienced issues of this nature or have any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong?

This is not a question but rather a protest to the developers. Please bring back the "print and save as pdf file" feature in Firefox for Android. Thank you in advance.

I find the new jump back in and the old collections annoying and distracting. How do I disable or turn them off so they do not appear on my screen.
