I would like to be able to download thunderbird addons as part of a automated provisioning process using ansible. I am currently unable to download addons due to cloudflare bot protection. Is there an authorized/authenticated means available to achieve this?

I have notice for some time the Firefox start have updates almost daily it is not too bad whats that bug me is the matter the updates only start show up the information the availability after you log in any account or web site , never in your Firefox Home. you can stay 1 hour with Firefox open with home screen and no alert of updated show 10 second after you login in on email account or enter in any web site the pop up the availability updated what start became annoying .

This will be a long question and in 2 parts, so I'll apologize up front.

1. I am running FireFox on my 11-year old MacBook and love it (MacOS Mojave version 10.14.6). However, my printer just crapped out, and my new HP 9120e requires MacOS Big Sur (11.x.x) or later. If I update to that OS, will I still be able to use FireFox? If so, where do I find it (see Question 2, below)?

2. Since my old MacBook is clearly reaching the end of it's life and my Excel and Word apps are also ancient, I am trying to transfer all my stuff onto a "New" MacBook that is running MacOS Monterey version 12.0.1. However, the "New" computer (I will not say "improved") has been a reliability nightmare and I just had it in for service. They wiped my disk clean to install the Monterey OS. So, other than Safari, I have no browser (or anything else for that matter). When I go to the App Store to download FireFox, and don't see it anywhere. Help!

The attached image shows the error message I get when I try to run Thunderbird. This has been the case for several months, and all of the suggestions I've found online have failed to make any difference at all.

It seems this must be a fairly common error with other software, but within Mozilla's help menus I could find only one thread of two messages that addressed it at all, with no solution offered.

I'm running Windows 11, and have had no problems with Thunderbird until this one.

I hope someone can offer a solution that works for me.

I am attempting to install Thunderbird on a new laptop and move personal folders from old to new PC. The installation process finds my email address and ISP information but fails with incorrect password.

Steps - 1. enter user name 2. enter email address 3. install finds correct ISP information 4. accept ISP information without changes 5. enter email password 6. process popup say incorrect user name, ISP info or password 7. login to ATT.NET successfully which indicates to me that the userid and password are correct for email account.

what other information could I supply to assist with problem resolution? I do not know what to do next.

Anyone know if the Firefox app will be in the Microsoft Store soon for download?

I bought a new computer and if I download the app from the website I will permanently be taken out of S mode (I’m sure you guys are aware of this issue).

Im hoping the app will be available through the Microsoft Store very soon because I only use the Firefox browser on all of my other devices.

Is there a way around it other than permanently switching out of S mode and downloading? I’m aware I can do that but prefer not to.

Hello I'm using TB 128 esr / flatpak on Ubuntu 25.04. I'm satisfied, but I want to install Thunderbird in parallel before switching to this version. https://support.mozilla.org/fr/kb/installer-thunderbird-sous-linux#w_changing-channels I read and managed to install TB "monthly beta" by extracting the tar file. It wasn't possible to retrieve the profile via the zip file because it's 2.4 GB. It seems to work, even though it uses quite a bit of CPU power, ~20%!

1/ Anyway, my main interest would be to have a usage similar to Firefox standalone, which I can use from my computer to my laptop :-) with the same profile stored on an SSD data drive. I don't want to install the profile on my computer or laptop system drives!

2/ How do I launch this version at startup?

I recently changed from Windows 10 to Zorin for reasons, I guess, everybody knows. I am finding difficult to put Thunderbird on the desktop. What am I doing wrong? Can someone help? KG Zorin

I have old 15 year old mac el capitan -10.11.r with outdated firefox 78.15.0esr 64-bit.... in perfect condition. Unfortunately I can not make updates on browser anymore. Online banking websites does not allow me to use this outdated browser. Would you be so kind to make even paid update for me? Or at least let me know what settings I should change under about:config

In firefox, an extension no longer appears in the toolbar. It used to. Therefore I can no longer log in into that extension nor can I restore it to the toolbar. My version Firefox 138.03 64-bit. The extension is Phantom version 25.16.0
