I have a new windows 10 laptop

i just installed firefox

as a try to enable sync i type in my email i type in my password it ask for the PIN sent to email, but i did not get the email ( i checked spam )

i retry to enable sync and i get :

The confirmation email we sent to ***@***.*** was returned and we’ve locked your account to protect your Firefox data. If this is a valid email address, let us know and we can help unlock your account.

my email is working i did test and its working fine

how do i get sync to work?

Since updating to FF84 this morning my_userChrome has been disrupted. As you can see from the screen shot the #personal-bookmarks #PlacesToolbar toolbarseparator has become extremely thick.

My normal my_userChrome code has always been:

It´s been 5 or 6 times since i have been using Mozilla (3 days ago) that the pop-up message to write de password appears at random times when i'm doing things in the browser that doesn't trigger any action that triggers the pop-op. Do anyone suffers the same problem? Could be a virus or something?

Hi FF-Community,

since a few days, I have a big problem with an Add-On in my Firefox-Installation:

As you can see in the picture, there is an Add-On wich adds Add to my Google search for example. The Add-On has no name and I can't deinstall it, it has no Add-On folder (like it is described for manually deinstallation for Add-Ons) and I can't deactivate it.

What I've done till now:

- tried to deinstall the Add-On via Firefox GUI - tried to deinstall it via deleting the Add-On folder in Profiles/XXX/extensions - deinstalled Firefox without synchronising Add-Ons, reinstalled it - searched with my anti-virus for Firefox-Spam

Nothing worked till now...I'm about to switch to Chrome because of this f** Add-On....

I am totally blind, and quite often websites displays a question something like, "Website X would like to access your location. Allow?" My issue is that I cannot find a keyboard-only method to answer that pop-up. Most of the time, I cannot find the "click" control to say either "allow" or "don't allow." I hope that there is a way that I can respond to those pop-ups without sighted assistance because I do not have such assistance readily available, and the pop-up apparently disappears after a few seconds. The old Internet Explorer had a shortcut ALT-N to reach that bar or whatever it was so that a blind person could enter a response. Firefox needs something like that function if it doesn't already exist so that we who are blind would have access to this type of pop-up equal that of sighted users.

Instead of showing the origin of a pdf file, Firefox now downloads it an shows file:///C:/Users/Me/AppData/Local/Temp/Maribyrnong-Bicycle-Strateg-2020-2030-4.pdf That's not at all helpful guys. Because I don't get the address from google either, they just have their own reference. I have to open internet explorer to let me copy the address so I can send it to a mate in an email. Just a bit of feedback.

I get an error message: "Error connecting to server". I have cleared my history including cookies, cache etc. I can access all of my other accounts without any problems. I have called TD Bank and they have told me to use Google chrome. I don't want to switch browsers.

.story files converted to .zip upon download

Upon trying to download a .story file (Articulate Storyline 360) from a server, the .story file is automatically converted by Firefox to .zip.

In essence a .story file is a .zip file but I don't want this conversion to happen as it is annoying, confusing and adds additional work to my flow.

Does anyone know of a way to turn this conversion off? I assume it is a security feature. This does not happen in Chrome/Safari or FF for Windows
