The issue arises with the following steps
find a cell with text (not formula) place the cursor in the edit line (formula bar) backspace to remove all of the text type in new text hit enter
A new line, char(10) is inserted after the text. Confirmed with a find function.
It did this with Firefox but not Chrome. Reported in Google sheets forum title "Why are line breaks being added to cells randomly" Can't see how to add link here.

I can see it start up in task manager (two processes) but within 1 second both are gone. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling firefox. Same problem. This is Windows 10 v 1909. Hi, i am a Firefox lover. I have been using Firefox for about 3 years. But have one things that i really hate in Firefox, that is bookmark bar in Firefox not disappear automatic when you are not in Newtab. My screen is quiet small (13 inch) so it's quiet anoy when the bookmark bar take a small space of the interface. I just wonder that why Firefox don't make it like Chrome?
I tried a way, which is using custom userChrome.css but it's animation is not smooth.
I really love Firefox and i hope that you will make it become more convenient for users.

Add-on works either in debug mode, loaded from file and installed via policies.json until I close browser. Next time I run FF my add-on is not invoked at all.
manifest.json file contains this directive:

I'm on Fedora 31. Firefox was recently upgraded to 71.0 and I find a weird pattern in trying to open links from applications - possibly related to Slack:
If firefox was initially opened following a link from Slack, I can open other links from Slack, but trying to follow links from other applications (IBM Lotus Notes, or running "firefox URL" from a terminal window) fails with a "Firefox is already running" message.
If I open firefox from the desktop applications menu, the reverse happens. I can open links from Notes and a terminal, but following links from Slack fails.
I tried reinstalling firefox and slack with no success. Today I tried going back to an earlier version - firefox-70.0.1-4.fc30.x86_64.rpm - and everything seems to be okay.
It seems like something changed in firefox 71 that doesn't play well with Slack.

Firefox says theres an update, so I download it. I then have to verify my firefox account with my email...of which I cannot open. Yet again another stupid update poorly researched and executed. No doubt I will be told its my fault because I dont have update 72.3.56.786 or install 234.3987.2 or some crap no one would ever know about

I need to allow some websites to store cookies, all other cookies are getting deleted every time I close FireFox. There is a dialogue "Cookies and Website-Data"-->"Permissions" that lets me whitelist specific websites. Cookies of these websites should be excepted from the deletion when closing FireFox.
The problem is that everytime I close firefox the whitelisted websites disappear... I had this problem already with Version 69, its still there in 70...

I'm using an extensive HOSTS file to block content, etc., from websites, which is a pretty common use of HOSTS. However, Firefox 70.0 is ignoring the HOSTS file and loads sites that are explicitly named as 0.0.0.0 addresses. Other browsers, such as Chromium, work as expected and return a "not found" message. Is this a bug in Firefox or is there some setting, such as under about:config, that needs to be set properly? Thanks for any help/suggestions.

I've dealt with this over a month now and I'm sick of it. There is no reason for this. I manage multiple YouTube accounts and have since abandon three of them over this. It's not even worth it anymore. Why am I being signing out every time I restart my Mac? I scavenged through the settings and there's nothing on "mass sign me out of all websites when I update FireFox or restart my computer". I can kill/ force quit FF and everything is still signed in, it's only when either FF updates or I restart my computer. It's sickening and a burden, hopefully; this isn't some key security feature that Mozilla thought was a great idea. I need some easing and for someone to tell that this is an easy fix and not some b.s. bug that will never be patched.

ETP breaks or interferes with just about every site I frequent. I have tried using the "custom" option and deselecting the 4 tracker options but every site still has ETP enabled, and it is far too time consuming to have to manually turn it off for every website I visit. I would like to find out 1) what I'm doing wrong that the method I've tried to disable ETP isn't working (yes, I reload the page every time), and 2) is there an "about:config" tweak that will turn off ETP globally, as in across the web, and on every new FF session I start? I really don't care who tracks me, but I do care about a feature that makes browsing more tedious and painful. I am using Chrome and Opera in the interim between discovering this annoying "enhancement" and when the FF developers fix it so it can be disabled with one click on a more global and permanent basis. Chrome and Opera don't break websites by default.

I listen to Pandora.com music while on my pc. Received a message that my computer doesn't allow it to Autoplay (just start playing music, when I login). Went through the steps, and option to save Pandora to Autoplay list is non existant.
These are the instructions: - Click the menu button (3 horizontal lines on toolbar), select Options - Click the Privacy & Security panel. - Scroll down to the Permissions section. - Click on Autoplay Settings
Here is where the problem is ... I have it set "block audio & video". I should be able to type in Pandora's web address and Firefox should find it.
