Hi! I'm looking for a way to remove the Android helper icon from the Firefox address bar (it lets me know the URL I have accessed can be opened in another app). I don't need it. I haven't found anything in the settings or anything obvious in about:config. The search functions here didn't return anything on this topic either - can anyone point me in the right direction?

As I can download the images, before it was enough to press and hold on the image and it gave me the option to download it, but now I have to enter the website and do it from there that's pretty tedious

Hi i am using the firefox since 5year and its best browser for pc and android. But I am not satisfied with the android browser of it and it need to be fix i hope so. When i had already saved the password an login into the pc it works. But when i have open the same website where i have already save the password in pc and open in android it doesn't directly so the login id and password. So i think it need to be fix ASAP because the people think it is Already saved in pc and i can use in phone also where no need to type the id and password in next device.

So I'm trying to compile the newest FF78 (W7x64).

   hg pull && hg update

Now as usual, "mach" annoyingly complains about some compiler being outdated, so as every month I have to

   mach bootstrap

I select 2 (normal FF), it downloads "node.tar.bz2", then "fix-stacks.tar.bz2" and then crashes with "Could not find artifacts for a toolchain build named `win32-minidump-stackwalk`".

So what exactly does it want me to do and why does this happen?

"mach clobber python" does not work.

Any PDF download through Firefox Android, will not STOP DOWNLOADING after its initiated. Only 'Force Stop' of Firefox app makes it stop. It does continue to use data.

Since all PDFs are automatically downloaded, this is a huge problem. Often a weblink doesnt indicate its for a pdf so Im not able to avoid most downloads.

Unlike Firefox for Desktop/laptop, Firefox for Android doesnt have settings to deal with downloads, to request 'always ask' before a download is initiated.

About:Config hasnt been helpful either. It remains downloading even if i quit firefox.

-I cant stop or cancell download in drop down on cell through download manager.

-Force stopping Download Manager in App settings wont stop download.

-Cutting off mobile data or wifi wont stop download. -Only force stop of Firefox App in phone settings is able to clear download from continuing.

This situation has made it clear, that desktop/laptop Firefox app has several choices in thier settings to mitigate this possibility, such as "Always ask" before downloading.

Why are there no features customising download in Firefox for Android settings?

Are there other ways to get this to stop than repeatedly killing the Firefox Android App in phone app settings?

Why doesnt Firefox for Android show on web page that a link is a PDF?

This problem has existed for many months through last 3 updates.

Have to continually refresh, reload, clear broeser cache, force close app just to get yahoo working properly. Every other site works just fine. You try to reply or compose a message and the letters of getting mixed up as I type and even spacing goes 2 or 3 spaces out per letter even letter start going behind and in front of eachother what the heeeeeck....In any part of yahoo mail when you click to do something it will start load an 1 mil of a second it immediately get stuck or starts loading slow then goes to like a connection lost or server down page which have to refresh 30 times to bring it back up. Another example out of the many is attachments don't want to open after clicking on the paper click (PAGE TIMES OUT) amazing and will get Yahoo didn't save the draft losing everything typed yet all the sudden attachments open then the next battle is trying to get the attachment to go which takes hours just to upload attachments. This problem has been going on for years and happens to a lot of people as I see in other forums. Will continue to surch for an answer till meet a computer mastermind.
