Japanese characters usually do not render.

I can reproduce this issue by:

• going to the Wikipedia page for the katakana Unicode block.
• going to any YouTube comment with Japanese text.
• hovering over the screenshot of the YouTube comment so that the tooltip containing the name of the file is shown.

On YouTube the text renders only if 1.27916663885116563rem <= font-size <= 1.92083328962326036rem. Increasing `gfx.font_rendering.fontconfig.max_generic_substitutions` from 3 to 99 allows some punctuation to render and makes the text take up horizontal space. Further increase of the value to 999 causes the interpunct to render in the Wikipedia page.

W 11 May, 2025 update really made my computer unable to go online in any way and I had to restore. But FFox updates to have made it impossible to communicate. My phone has trouble s too. So, how do we make stick telephone permissions for, say: G Voice page https://voice.google.com/u/0/calls now? Thank you

I dislike the Group Tabs feature. So many times I've accidentally created a Group Tab and then had to figure out how to un-group them.

I've tried to change the value of the "browser.tabs.groups.enabled" preference to false, but it doesn't stick; after restarting, the value is always back to "true".

I cannot figure out how to add my favorite things to the toolbar. The toolbar doesn't even show up at the top of my page. I just get a string of random bookmark names under the address bar with the Other bookmarks folder at the end. I can't even get rid of "Finish Setup" which is the last one shown. How do I do find where the toolbar is hidden and get it to show? Once I do find it, how can I add my favorite items to the toolbar? I even had ask a question online to find out how to restore my most recent bookmark which was backed up in the documents folder on my computer. Any suggestions would be very helpful. I don't like the way Mozilla Firefox looks now. It isn't as easy to use. I have included what the top of page looks like now. I am sorry I didn't think to keep one of how it used to be.

Hi. There is a problem with video playback when skipping through the video using a playback bar. The video (but not audio) freezes at the spot when one skippes to another part of the video and re-establishes after a while (not so short while) to the part of the video that is currently played. I'm using Linux Fedora.

Since the last update, I believe, because this error occurs constantly and with EVERY video. This is often, not always, the case immediately after updating FF. Now it was fine for a while, but now it's so bad that I'm having trouble watching YT videos properly. Reason: Browser open, logged in to YT. I click on a video to play - video opens, plays maybe 10 to 20 seconds, then playback stops spinning top, I also found out during the last glitch after update that if I switch the resolution briefly, higher or lower doesn't matter - important is to leave the current resolution and switch to another one. And oh wonder - immediately, instantly with the change, the video starts playing. What is also extremely annoying is that it occurs almost regularly after an update ... until the next one possibly, for unknown reasons, does not fix the error, but sometimes mitigates it. I was unable to find this issue online or on the forums, so wanted to see if anyone can help

-using FF for Android (latest official release) and 1password (latest release). 1password is selected as default password manager and I have disabled prompts for FF to manage and autofill passwords

-when visiting a site with a linked password, the 1password field comes up to fill the saved password, but after clicking, FF brings up a warning:

Fill anyway 1password can't verify the app or website should have access to your XXXXXX login.

Clicking fill once will fill the password correctly most of the time, but this behavior didn't occur previously. Previously, the password would be filled without the extra Firefox prompt.

What I've tried and noticed -removing and reinstalling both FF and 1password, and clearing cache for both -changing default password manager to none and then back to 1password -occurs in regular mobile and "desktop" modes -started occurring maybe in the last month or so, and beforehand this wasn't a problem.

-this problem doesn't occur with other browsers -in the autofill section of FF, the "autofill in other apps" slider is set to off, and there is no way I can slide it on, however when I click on it, it shows that the default android password manager is 1password

Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

When you right-click on a window thumbnail, a menu should appear, but instead the window thumbnail just disappears.
