I found the new "Close Duplicate Tabs" and would like to suggest the following, for improvement for power users.

1) It should be possible to configure an option for what should happen with the duplicate tabs. For example: it should be possible to move all the Duplicate Tabs to a new Window - so I can view all these tabs and compare them (and close them if I want that) Reason: I use a web interface to a database for documentation and sometimes I have more than one tab open with the same article - but the software behind it doesn't notice, it just stores what comes out and so it would happen that an article is accidentally overwritten.

2) According to what criteria are the duplicate tabs compared - can you set options here?

I've had trouble with this in the past where logging into Ring won't let me get past my user name/email address. I can hit enter, reload the page, try using tab but nothing works. Then for some unknown reason it will go forward to the password. But this time it just won't let me proceed no matter what I do, the continue option stays grayed out. I can sign on using Edge but I don't want to use Edge or even have a second browser open just so I can see my security camera. I want Firefox to work correctly.

At some point Firefox stopped allowing me to drag tabs or bookmarks around. This includes moving tabs around in their order, dragging a tab into a new window, dragging tabs into bookmarks, moving bookmarks around in the browser. I can't drag them around in 'manage bookmarks' either. I can still open and create bookmarks; they are simply much more difficult to place where I want them.

I believe this happened with the last update but it's not a feature I use all that often so it could be older.

I have opened Firefox in safe mode and had the same issue. I have turned off the computer several times since this began.

Any help would be appreciated.

When visiting a site with a Input=Number field and clicking on it and scrolling nothing happens when it should change the value as if i had pressed up or down arrow.

As you can see from the screenshot i provided and as you can read from subject of this very annoying issue Firefox new 130 update has changed my URL bar and now stuff are missing to the point that links to Outlook and some other stuff that were in address bar URL because i wanted them there and now they place has been taken by namely foxovizija.blogspot.com and watchonlyfoolsandhorses.com and ajax.nl/shop just because i watched few episodes of fools and horses on that link same goes for foxovizija and browsed some items in ajax fan shop! I WANT DOES LINK GONE FROM MY URL so i can put links that i want to be in there and FF 130 address bar being populated by only the links i want to be there and stay that way! and one more thing i want to get rid of that ugly search with google thing because i don't even use google,further more once all of a sudden in FF 130 MY BROWSER IS MANAGED BY MY ORGANIZATION ? That was never there before this update ,so with all that has been said and screenshot as proof i beg you and plea on your kindness and knowledge to give me guidance how to fix this URL thing first,then how to remove THIS BROWSER IS MANAGED BY YOUR ORGANIZATION and last but not least how to block further FF updates because every new update is worse then the next and just keep pushing the whole browser down the drain ! I only go out on the inet from my desktop a few times a month so I previously just tethered the phone and got online that way.

I just upgraded to a new Samsung Galaxy S24 which is a 5g connection. I can no longer get the desktop Firefox (130.0) to connect thru to the inet. The phone and desktop know about each other and I can xfer files back and forth. The phone uses Firefox android no palm.

Has anyone tried this yet? Is there some kind of phone setting for 5g? I had no trouble at all with old phone (android 4) 4g connection.

Firefox is my default browser but increasingly (once a week I guess) I have to use chrome to access some sites. This happens with firefox only, (not other browsers) on some sites. The latest site is https://www.skyscanner.ie/. (see screenshot below).

Any ideas?

My environment is windows 11 on a lenovo yoga slim7X using the ARM64 chipset

I rarely go online so I simply use my phone's tether connection the few times I do. I recently upgraded to a new phone and 5G service. Now I discover I can no longer get onto the internet via either tethering or hotspot. The phone connects with the desktop okay and the two devices know about each other but Firefox cannot find any servers. It worked just fine under 4G. Luckily I did a software update of Firefox on my desktop before the new phone and used it a couple of times so I know it is fully up to date. My desktop is Linux mint but I don't think the pblm is there. I am suspicious it is the handshaking that the browser has to do with the 5G network.

Has anyone tried this yet?

I love Firefox, I use it on all my devices. And daily I access facebook.com on this browser, it's been working flawlessly - until yesterday. Yesterday, using Firefox (ver 130.0.1) on my Windows 10 PC, I tried accessing a FB page which I visit sometimes: https://www.facebook.com/OpenOscillator

Rather than reaching that page, I got a white screen with this error message: "Sorry, something went wrong." And since then, even visiting the Facebook home page (or any other FB page) has the same error message.

Today I tried the same thing on my Mac (OS 14.3), using Firefox and logging into facebook.com, which worked as usual. But when I went to https://www.facebook.com/OpenOscillator, I got the same error message: "Sorry, something went wrong." And as happened on my PC, now on my Mac I can't access any FB page on Firefox.

And just to mention, I've rebooted both the PC and the Mac, yet this problem persists on both devices.

Trying this same exercise on Edge on my PC does not have this problem. Nor does it happen when doing this on Safari on my Mac.

So, this problem has only been happening on Firefox. I can no longer access facebook.com with Firefox. Do you guys have any ideas how to solve this?

Hello, I'm having an issue with how Firefox is displaying images on some of our product pages. The image appears to be zoomed in which cuts off the side of the product image. The exact same product page displays completely fine when using Safari and Chrome. I cannot figure out the issue. Please see attached images.

I have tried:

modifying the about:config page prefs:

   browser.enable_automatic_image_resizing
   browser.enable_click_image_resizing 

I have also tried resetting the zoom features (Command/Conrl +/-/0).

I have also tried reinstalling firefox and running the browser without any extensions.

None of these worked. Any suggestions?
