I signed in to my account on my desktop today just as I have for years. I was asked to verify it was me. You sent me a code. I could not figure out where I was supposed to enter that code. I saw no instructions where to type it in and I could not see any space to enter the code into. Now I am locked out. I have been on firefox for years. I am 76 years old now, a recent stroke victim, and this is very confusing to me. Can you make this simpler? Please explain where I need to type in the code you send and let me try again. Please reply. This is stressing me up. It all started today when I tried to add this account to a new iphone my kids got for me. I have only used android phones on my firefox account. I won't try to add firefox to the iphone again. iphones seem to be complicated enough as it is. I can use it on Microsoft I hope. but I still need firefox to continue working on my android desktop. Firefox has all my passwords for other apps stored on it. As well as the saved favorite websites I have placed on there over the years. Many, Many of them. I am used to having the firefox saved password function to quickly log me in to those applications . After restating my desktop Mac, all my stored bookmarks (100's) have disappeared. Following the instructions on the Mozilla Help Pages to restore bookmarks, I received the following response: "Unable to process the backup file". So how do I restore my bookmarks? I am also unable to add a new bookmark. What is going on? Also, why is History no longer being logged? Clicking on the History tab, no history is displayed.

I'm not able to any DRM content on my Firefox. It's playing properly on Chrome as well as Prime Video apps on my Windows. I tried submitting crash reports from my account.

I tried reading Get help section, but most of the doubts were on MacOS.

It has been happening with the latest update for last 1 month. It was working earlier as expected.

I've already tried reinstalling Firefox on my Windows, but It didn't work.

When I open Firefox it's just a black page and anything I click on isn't responsive. I can't go into options or anything. Sometimes Firefox doesn't even load. It worked fine earlier than all of a sudden It stopped working today. Web pages don't load. Nothing works

I seen a post earlier that had a link to a supposed fix but I couldn't figure it out. So if anybody is able to help me it would be much appreciated. I am not an advanced user when it comes to Firefox

using firefox version 109 and my internet down load manager no longer works, it works in other browsers but not since updating firefox. not sure if i was successful in posting this request prior to this one so will give it another try. thanks

If I have to go more than 2 steps into a web site, example accessing my propane account, Firefox hangs up and I need to use a different browser to access my account. This happened with ChatGPT, when I got to the log in page Firefox hung up, I used the CCleaner browser to get into the website. I'm guessing I have something setup in the security settings of Firefox that's blocking me.

Is this new feature? Once I click on link with middle mouse button, that tab is opened and switched to it. Previous firefox versions only opened tab and thats it. It is very frustrating. I want open multiple tabs and then view those tabs. Now I have to, suppose I have 5 links listed in webpage:

I middle mouse 1st link Then I have to return to my previous page I middle mouse 2nd link Then I have to return to my previous page I middle mouse 3rd link Then I have to return to my previous page I middle mouse 4th link Then I have to return to my previous page I middle mouse 5th link Then I have to return to my previous page

If it is new DEFAULT, then please make ant option to switch back in about:config, thanks!

hi, i formatted my laptop, downloaded firefox, signed in and my old data didnt show up, i clicked sync but nothing changed. all my old passwords are lost and thee is no history before today.

I can't get to them. it's an email provider called tutanota it's encrypted email. I just changed the password and didn't save it in firefox so what is stored there is the old one. I changed that about 2 hours ago but I don't know if that mask creator created some other info or what and now I can't access my email. can you help me? they don't have support for free users. please, I can't lose that account, I use it for work

Regardless of the OS or Browser , trying to access the site https://www.googleadservices.com/ results with a failure described as "We can’t connect to the server at www.googleadservices.com."

Specifically this error message was just obtained on macOS Ventura 13.1 on my Intel based MacBook Pro using Firefox 109.0.1. It happens on all Windows machines I tried, on my iPad and iPhone.

I saw at least a million similar questions similar to this one, even more advices on how to address it - and no answer helps.

I downloaded Firefox on a new computer. I logged in with my existing account and synced my data

This was successful. All of my bookmarks and extensions were downloaded properly.

I went into the customize menu to alter my toolbar. However, there were no icons for any of the extensions that I added, such as Bitwarden or Ublock Origin.

Due to this, I am not able to add these extension icons to my toolbar.

I verified that the extensions were all properly downloaded and that they work as they should.

I have already attempted to restart Firefox, uninstall and reinstall certain extensions, and to reinstall Firefox entirely. However, my extension icons do not show up still in the Customize menu

I am not trying to do anything in the Private Browser.

How can this issue be resolved?

Ever since Firefox updated today I've been unable to use the browser. It takes at least 5 minutes or more minutes to load, I can't manually log into any websites until the speeddial finally loads, and the speeddial addon refuses to come up for at least 5 minutes, I can't log into Dropbox even with the speeddial up and running because the capcha won't popup...and on and on.

What in the world has been done to it? I'm using another browser just to contact support.

I am running Linux Mint 20.3 Cinnamon. When installed through the Mint Software Manager, Firefox comes with the DisableAppUpdates policy enabled, which is meant to disable automatic updates. This suits me just fine, as I prefer to update Firefox manually as new versions are released rather than have them pushed on me. However, I've found that Firefox does update automatically. In fact, because of the policy, I am unable to prevent it from updating automatically. As you can see in the included screenshots, I am running the most recent version of Firefox (released today), despite updates being ostensibly disabled. I cannot find a way to disable the policy or prevent the automatic updates.

Why is this happening, and how can I stop it?

When I attempt to login to different sites, I am unable to select my saved logins from the drop down box. When I click on the login username box, the login flashes and does not allow me to select my saved username and password. So far, I have tried restarting my computer and unchecking and checking the auto fill option in settings. Please help!!!

Hi! I recently closed Firefox like I do every single day, and when I came back all of my tabs were gone. A folder appeard on my desktop with, what i pressume, is the files for the previous session. I moved the files from the sessionstore-backups folder to the Firefox profile folder and nothing happened. Can someone please help me?
