Today Firefox stopped altogether and dimmed the entire window and popped up a "Try the Firefox VPN" message. I use Firefox specifically to get away from disruptive, intrusive violations like that. This needs to be removed immediately and never ever happen again. It's completely antithetical to the core values of Firefox.

This affected me on Windows 10 running Firefox 113.0.2 64 bit.

When I scroll down to look at recent posts on Facebook groups I follow all but the top one has suddenly lost its date/time – I just get a blank where the details would usually be and have to hover over to reveal the details. The silly thing is that this only happens when I sign in and it doesn’t happen when I use chrome – although I prefer using Firefox, not least because the bookmarks sidebar is better. I have tried getting rid of all extensions and running in troubleshoot mode but without success. Any help/advice would be appreciated (as long as it is not about football!)

Before recent firefox updates, youtube videos were automatically rotated in full screen mode. But now youtube videos are not auto-rotated in full screen mode. I've just wondered if you could solve this problem. Thank you.

How do I add the icon for an add-on which is not shown when I click on "customize toolbar"? When I click customize toolbar the result does not show any of the icons for add-ons/extensions.

I visit the website Hamilton house painters frequently throughout the day. Although I can delete my web history for a specific time period, I'm wondering if there is an option to delete my entire web history for that website altogether.

Whenever I try to download a file from google drive, I get: "The page isn’t redirecting properly An error occurred during a connection to drive.google.com. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

Downloading google docs files from drive works fine, they convert to word and save to my downloads like normal. But downloading image files or pdfs yields this error. Right-clicking and downloading them from the folder view just does nothing. There is no difference between shared files and my own drive files. This error only happens in firefox, I can download files on microsoft edge just fine.

This has been happening for a few weeks now. Things I've tried:

-clearing cookies and cache -restarting firefox, restarting computer -checking for updates and updating firefox -disabling all my add-ons -clearing startup cache -adding drive.google.com and google.com to the exceptions for enhanced tracking protection -switching from standard to custom and unchecking cookies from the list of trackers and scripts to block, then clearing all cookies and cache -attempting to download in firefox troubleshoot mode -attempting to download in incognito mode -refreshing firefox -re-installing firefox by following the steps here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1233618 -turned off real-time protection on computer antivirus (default for windows 10) -turned off microsoft defender firewall

I don't even know what else I can try. I assume it's a firefox error because this only happens using firefox on my laptop - I use firefox mobile and can download the same files on my phone. Does anyone have any advice?

Sometimes when a a browser add-on is having trouble, I removed it, then hit undo, and sometimes it works again after that adds it back on. I thought I'd do that today since some were showing blanks instead of their icons. I did one from the manager just fine, but when I removed one from the toolbar instead of the manager, no undo option was presented, and I don't recall which it was. How can I undo, or view recently removed extensions?

Hey everyone, I'm having trouble opening the website https://learnaboutcat.com/. Every time I try to load a full page, an article, or a category, it simply doesn't work. I'm not sure what caused this issue, but I'm eager to find a solution as soon as possible. Any assistance you can offer would be greatly appreciated. It would be really helpful if you could try opening a website, click on any category or article, and let me know if you encounter the same problem. Over the last few weeks, I would say four times in last month, all my pinned and tabbed websites disappear. Currently the space where they normally go is blank. Please advise.

The first post on the Facebook page will always display the timestamp, none of the remaining posts display the timestamp. The space for the timestamp is there and hovering the mouse over it will show the date and time (so the information is on the page, just not displaying). It is the same on different Facebook pages and using different Facebook accounts. I have checked my settings. I have cleared my caches, history, etc. I have restarted my computer many times. I have operated Firefox in troubleshooting mode, with extensions and add-ons disabled. I have done an anti-virus sweep with Kaspersky. This issue does not occur when I open Facebook in Microsoft Edge browser. I think this may have started approximately May 18 2023.

Suddenly (last day or so) the timestamps on Facebook posts are missing (except on the first on the timeline). The data is there, you can hover over the location where the timestamp should be and the date and time will pop up. This still works as usual on Chrome, so I don't think it is a Facebook issue. Since yesterday on Facebook I can't see the time a post was written like I always had and like it happensa for example on Chrome, does this is happening to others?

I have attempted to watch DRM using content that I have the rights to via subscription as well as by purchase. When I attempt to stream movies I OWN via Vudu or Youtube, it tells me that DRM features are not active when they very much are. I checked my settings and DRM content is enabled. I have also run into the same issue with Netflix as well. I cleared out my browser cache, which did not help. I disabled and re-enabed the DRM options. This did not help either. I restarted my computer multiple times and this did not help either.

Firefox says it is installing the features needed to watch the content but it never does, or rather, it doesn't show any progress. I have left my computer and browser running overnight and not had success.

I cannot login to my Tiktok account on my home computer. My account is in good standing, I checked with TikTok. I can log in on my phone through the app, but cannot through my desktop.
