Hi! I want to search using voice, but there is no microfon icon in adress bar. Only when I choose google as default search engine the icon appears, but I don't usually search with google. When I create firefox search widget on home screen there is microfon icon and voice search works well.

I have read this https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/voice-input-firefox-android, needed feature is on.

Help please.

The sidebar that is brought up by clicking on the sidebar button normally shows whatever you choose on its dropdown menu (Bookmarks, History, or synced tabs). And it used to be, if you choose Bookmarks on that menu, it shows bookmarks the next time you open it. But since a few weeks, it is always showing History when clicked, even though I only ever use it for Bookmarks. Is there any way to stop this behaviour?

Help Please! I 've recently upgraded from Win 7 to Win 10 and one of the many annoyances is that I can't "email a link" any longer from Firefox. I have searched the web & followed all the instructions but the "use Gmail" option is simply absent from the dropdown choices in Options/Applications/Mailto Please, please how can I get the "use gmail" option. I followed the instructions to "Reset download actions for all file types" from here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cant-download-or-save-files#w_reset-download-actions-for-all-file-types. I accidentally renamed the profile folder instead of the json file.

unsurprisingly, i now get the "firefox profile cannot be loaded" message and cannot open firefox.

I uninstalled and reinstalled firefox to no success.

In an attempt to correct this error (that is, to change the renamed folder back to its original name), i tried to follow these instructions: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data#w_finding-your-profile-without-opening-firefox

Under "how do i find my profile?" it reads "Click the Finder icon in the dock. On the menu bar, click the Go menu, hold down the option or alt key and select Library. A window will open containing your Library folder." Well, using the Go tab, there is no Library folder. but I managed to find the folder anyways. but when i do find the folder Library > Application Support, there is no Firefox folder in there!

Please advise how it is that I can find this folder and rename it

Just after the most recent FF update I noticed , from time-to-time, that when I print FF is using the FF printer mode instead of the default Adobe Acrobat printer mode. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens. My options screen still shows Adobe as the default printer mode. So, I don't understand why this is happening. I look forward to anyone's comments. Hello, how can I get similar functionality to "New tabs" as I have for "Homepage and new windows"? Because right now all I can do is either choose to open Firefox's home page or a blank page, but I would like to be able to open my custom sites just as I do for "Homepage and new windows".

after a firefox update my titlebar buttons are just white and I cant change it, even tried reinstalling and completely removing the folder in %appdata% but it still didn't work and it's really annoying.

how do I keep my search preferences from changing every time I open Firefox? I prefer to use google as my main search engine and I have set it to this in my preferences thru the option menu. However every time I quit and then reopen Firefox my search engine reverts to yahoo? Why Yahoo? and why does this happen and how do I stop it?

Hi, I am using 78.9.0 and would like the Attachments Panel turned on by default. I notice there are various fixes for this over the years for various versions but non it seems work with this version.

I have tried the .css method. I have tried the about: method.

Any ideas?

It just seems very counter-untuitive that the panel is off by default and user are to drag and drop attachments onto the entry area on the form! Per Outlook and the ability to drag onto the main message area would be a fair alternative, but I'd rather have the panel visible at all times.

I have long been an enthusiastic user of thunderbird with "virtual identity". I kept Thunderbird 68 until few days ago. I had the stupid idea of ​​updating and now I am in trouble. Many of the virtual identity features are not yet present in Thunderbird 78.

Following a hard disk crash, I had to replace the hard disk on my desktop. Restoring backups of data and programs is proving time consuming and difficult. I needed to download and do new install of Firefox, now running 87. But Trusteer Rapport also needed to be downloaded and installed, and neither the extension nor the address bar icon now seem to exist. Can anyone help me get the address bar icon for Trusteer Rapport back in Firefox, which is my preferred browser (the address bar icon isn't there in Chrome, either, although the extension is installed there).
