It would be great if you could help me restore the view and, consequently, access to my email accounts in Thunderbird under the circumstances described. Thank you!

I see there are 3rd Party Message Filters. However, I'm not looking for those. I'm looking at the Tools> Message Filters>Filter name for:, where you can add Email Details>choose what part of the email, and then move Message to. I want to be able to view the Filter name alphabetically in the Folder(s)...without having to sort so many of them individually.

Example:

- Filter name: 123@domain.com - Match: From - Move Message to: Spam - Message Filters (alphabetically)

Any help would be appreciated.

Every eMail I get is now being marked as read when I move it to trash, including Spam, even if it is not read. I do not want this behavior. I did not change any settings. Thunderbird started doing this automatically, several days ago. I want everything that is unread to remain unread, ESPECIALLY Spam. I asked this question 8 months ago, but I have received no answers or support.

I recently updated from a very old version of Thunderbird. The new version no longer shows the little popup messages at the bottom of my screen when automatically checking accounts for mail at the designated interval. As I have numerous email accounts (all set up as POP mail), set to check at different intervals, these popups were useful to me - they also showed when I manually checked an account, or all accounts - this also is not happening anymore. Have they been discontinued, or is it possible I turned them off? I did change some things to suppress nags to update Thunderbird during the time I was using the old version, and unfortunately didn't keep a record of those changes. I'd appreciate knowing which function in about:config controls this feature so I can check to see whether it's set correctly. Thanks!

My Firefox appears to have replaced site security info at the left of the address bar, with a search function. I need it back. How do I revert to the security info it had previously? I also have a separate web search bar, and do not want web search from the address bar.

1 How can the list "recent folders" in the icon "store in" be sorted alphabetically? (sorry, my version of Thunderbird speaks German) It used to be alphabetically, but now is sorted chronologically.

2 I cordially suggest to add a function exactly like this one, but with item at my own disposal (maybe the favorite folders).

We have asked this before, and we still are not able to resolve it at all. Several items: We have two email addresses used by Thunderbird, for many years. [email1]@apaltd.com and [email2]@apaltd.com. Since the last "update", some many months back, her account has had TWO "sent" items/boxes, and they do not have the same items in them as "Sent". We tried to get rid of one, but to no avail. Also, the headings used to have features that showed "dates" in order and other normal things that we used all the time. Now these are gone and we have no idea how to get then back to way to the way opening page was originally, and we are seriously thinking about how to use another service, however we have been happy Thunderbird users for many, many years and need to return the site to its original layout. You folks have tried to help before, but none of the advice worked (i.e, right click on one of the sent boxes to remove it) We are reluctant to simply re-install Thunderbird lest we lose all our other data. We are at a standstill and need advice and help as soon as anyone can help. If any more information is needed, we will happily supply it. Thanking the community in advance for any help/solutions. My folders used to show a yellow diamond when there was new email in the folder. The folder colour does still change to blue to indicate unread email. When I open a folder, the yellow diamond still shows up on new email, as well as the unread flag. What have I done? How do I configure Thunderbird to show that yellow diamond on folders with new email?

Hello, please, how do I add a "Share Tab" Button to the Firefox Menu? I'm using Version 149 on my iMac (late 2013, running V. 10.15.8). I'd so appreciate your help with this? Thanks in advance, Eliahu

Just updated to TB release 128.14.0.esr. Win 11.

The QuickFilter "light" - that shows I have turned on "show only unread messages", or "show only starred message" etc... no longer shows that the filter is selected. Before updating the button would show a color (blue) to indicate that I had selected one of them. Not a major flaw, but less convenient. Any suggestion on how to restore??

Attached is what Thunderbird is doing. If you look at the enclosed attachment you'll see two emails. One is for yahoo.com and the other is for my gmail.com accounts. Yahoo is in black and gmail is in red. Why is this?

How can I fix it? The 2nd problem as you can see is the spacing on my emails are double space. How do I make them single space?

I am happy Firefox released a way to change system shortcuts in the most recent version. But a shortcut I've wanted to change for awhile was not present.

how can i deactivate grouping of mails from the same sender? I DO NOT!!!!! WANT that all the mails from the same sender are beeing grouped into ONLY ONE line!!!! It is very important, that the incoming mails remain in the entry line when they have been received!!!! WHERE/HOW can i adjust this? Thanks in advance for a competent and solution-focused answer.
